Abstract: A vehicle drive device includes a rotary electric machine, an inverter, and a case. The case includes a main body portion and a cover portion. The main body portion houses the rotary electric machine and at least a part of the inverter. The cover portion is joined to the main body portion so as to cover an opening portion of the main body portion. The inverter includes a cooler, a first unit that is fixed to the cooler so as to be along a first reference plane, and a second unit that is fixed to the cooler so as to be along a second reference plane. The cooler is fixed to the main body portion.

Abstract: A drive device includes a motor, an inverter to control current supplied to the motor, plate-shaped busbars that electrically connect the motor with the inverter, and a housing that accommodates the motor, the inverter, and the busbars. Abstract: A plurality of control maps respectively corresponding to a plurality of lever operation amounts are stored in a storage device. Each control map defines a driving force to be output from an electric motor such that the driving force corresponds to an accelerator operation amount and a vehicle speed. A control device uses a control map corresponding to an actual lever operation amount among the plurality of control maps and thereby calculates the driving force to be output from the electric motor based on an actual accelerator operation amount and an actual vehicle speed from the control map. This vehicle can alleviate discomfort caused when a driver accustomed to an engine vehicle operates an electric vehicle.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to suppress energization deterioration due to crystal defects in a semiconductor device including SiC-MOSFET. To solve this problem, a semiconductor device of the present invention includes: an n−-type epitaxial layer formed on a main surface of an n+-type SiC substrate; a p-type termination region that is annularly formed in the n−-type epitaxial layer outside an active region; and an n-type hole annihilation region annularly formed in the n−-type epitaxial layer outside the p-type termination region, apart from the p-type termination region. Then, the n-type hole annihilation region has a first end surface facing the p-type termination region, as well as a second end surface on the opposite side of the first end surface. Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide an EMG signal controller or a wheelchair using an EMG signal controller to allow full vehicular direct drive control, and wheelchair accessory control, by using one or more EMG sensors applied to certain muscles of a subject, and translating the movement of the muscles of the subject that the EMG sensors are connected, to electrical signals causing for the operation of a motorized wheelchair. The controller and wheelchair are designed specifically for paralyzed individuals with limited motion, but may be used by any subject with or without any physical or nervous system disabilities. The present invention further provides an emergency stop which is activated in the event that the subject using the wheelchair experiences a seizure or other neurological shock.
