    Abstract: A vehicle drive device includes a rotary electric machine, an inverter, and a case. The case includes a main body portion and a cover portion. The main body portion houses the rotary electric machine and at least a part of the inverter. The cover portion is joined to the main body portion so as to cover an opening portion of the main body portion. The inverter includes a cooler, a first unit that is fixed to the cooler so as to be along a first reference plane, and a second unit that is fixed to the cooler so as to be along a second reference plane. The cooler is fixed to the main body portion.

    Abstract: A drive device includes a motor, an inverter to control current supplied to the motor, plate-shaped busbars that electrically connect the motor with the inverter, and a housing that accommodates the motor, the inverter, and the busbars. The housing includes a partition wall that partitions the inside of the housing into a motor housing and an inverter housing. The partition wall is provided with a through hole. Each busbar includes a motor connection terminal, an inverter connection terminal, a first portion extending from the motor connection terminal toward the through hole, and a second portion extending from the first portion to the inverter connection terminal through the through hole. At least two busbars overlap each other in a plate thickness direction inside the through hole.

    Abstract: The present invention is intended to provide an EMG signal controller or a wheelchair using an EMG signal controller to allow full vehicular direct drive control, and wheelchair accessory control, by using one or more EMG sensors applied to certain muscles of a subject, and translating the movement of the muscles of the subject that the EMG sensors are connected, to electrical signals causing for the operation of a motorized wheelchair. The controller and wheelchair are designed specifically for paralyzed individuals with limited motion, but may be used by any subject with or without any physical or nervous system disabilities. The present invention further provides an emergency stop which is activated in the event that the subject using the wheelchair experiences a seizure or other neurological shock.

    Abstract: A vehicle is configured with an N-phase electric machine, a first on-board electrical sub-system and a second on-board electrical sub-system. The electric machine includes a rotor and a stator system, wherein the first onboard electrical sub-system includes an inverter and the stator system is linked to the inverter. The electric machine can be operated using an inverter controller on the principle of a field-oriented control system, so that the electric machine is linked to a control unit, wherein the inverter can be controlled by the control unit, and the control unit uses a phased activation method to control the inverter.

    Abstract: A control system includes an electric motor, an electric storage device, a throttle grip, a brake lever, a controller, and an acceleration/deceleration adjustment lever. The controller supplies electric power from the electric storage device to the electric motor in response to an acceleration command input by the throttle grip when the acceleration/deceleration adjustment lever is placed in a location closer to a driver than a cut-off position to cause the electric motor to activate the rear wheel, and cuts off electric power supplied to the electric motor irrespective of an operation of the throttle grip in a state in which the acceleration/deceleration adjustment lever has been operated and placed in the cut-off position.

    Abstract: A bicycle communication adapter is provided with a voltage converting component, a signal converting component and a superimposing component. The voltage converting component is configured to convert a received voltage supplied from a bicycle electrical management system to a converted voltage suitable for at least one of a plurality of electric devices of a bicycle electrical system. The signal converting component is configured to convert a received signal outputted from a bicycle electrical management system into a converted signal compliant with a standard for power line communication. The superimposing component is configured to superimpose the converted signal converted by the signal converting component onto the converted voltage converted by the voltage converting component.
