Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for monitoring an injection molding process which may calculate injection time and packing time by attaching an acceleration sensor to an injection molding mold with bolts and measuring an amplitude change of a vibration signal of a mold during injection molding, detect mold closing and opening signals of the mold using a magnetic hall sensor, and monitor the injection molding process by measuring cycle time and cooling time, thereby simplifying installation and maintenance and reducing installation costs.

Abstract: In the present invention, constructed is a highly reliable system that does not allow unforeseen conditions to occur in the remote diagnosis of a clamp device. All combinations of status of a state detection switch mounted on a clamp device are anticipated in advance by a recursive method, and the states are defined with no omissions. A control unit 9 includes: a main body memory 9c that stores the ON/OFF state of a state switch together with the status of an injection molding machine main body, the clamp status and time information; and a main body communication unit 9d which is capable of short-range wireless communication. A message diagnosing a failure is stored in a smartphone 12 for all combinations of the ON/OFF state of the state detection switch for each of the following cases: whether in mold replacement mode or not; and whether a clamp device is in a clamped state or an unclamped state, or in a state other than the forgoing. The history of the ON/OFF state of the state detection switch with respect to the status of the main body and the clamp status is read from the main body memory 9c by wireless communication, and a corresponding message is displayed.

The material supply unit includes a heating module for melting a wire material, and an extruder transporting the molten material into a die cavity formed between the die kernels. The drive unit is controllable to drive movement of the movable die holder relative to the frame unit. The monitoring unit is for a user to operate to control the extruder, the heating module and the drive unit.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system for monitoring the position of the closing unit of an injection-molding machine, by bypassing a light curtain that serves to secure the closing unit and the tool area of the injection-molding machine, wherein the injection-molding machine has at least one molding tool that consists of at least two parts, which tool encloses at least one mold cavity, wherein the injection-molding machine has a programmable logic controller (PLC) for controlling the movement monitoring module (MOC) for indirect position monitoring of the closing unit and of the position of the molding tool parts relative to one another, wherein distance measuring sticks are provided as sensors, the signals of which are processed in the PLC via the MOC, wherein the tool parts must maintain a spacing gap, relative to one another, after the closing pressure has been built up and the mold has been filled, during the subsequent bumping step, which gap has a specific maximal value assigned to it, with the injection-molding machine shutting off if this value is exceeded.

Abstract: An injection molding system comprising: a first selected valve, one or more downstream valves, delivering a fluid to a mold cavity, at least one fluid property sensor, each valve associated with a position sensor that detects opening of a gate at an actual open gate time to the controller, the controller automatically adjusting time of instruction to open the gates on a subsequent injection cycle by an adjustment time equal to any delay in time between a predetermined open gate target time and an actual open gate time, wherein the system forms a first one or more parts or objects, the user inspecting or measuring the first one or more parts or objects and manually adjusts the predetermined open gate target time.

A control portion (50) has first correction means correcting the operation amount of the movable platen (22) at the time of a minute mold opening operation based on the actual clamping force and on the set clamping force, and second correction means correcting the operation amount of the movable platen (22) at the time of the minute mold opening operation based on the operation amount of the movable platen (22) and on the position of the movable platen (22).
