摘要: A tubular product manufacturing apparatus successively delivers an injection molded tubular shaped body in the delivery direction. The manufacturing apparatus detects a defect on the surface of the molded body passing through the detection position in the delivery direction. The manufacturing apparatus separates a tubular product from the molded body. When a portion having a predetermined length in the molded body passes the detection position without detecting a defect, the manufacturing apparatus separates a tubular product from the molded body, which contains the portion having the predetermined length. When a defect is detected before a portion having the predetermined length in the molded body BT passes through the detection position, the manufacturing apparatus separates the defective tubular product from the molded body. The length of the defective tubular product is shorter than a good product length which is the length of the tubular product including the portion of the predetermined length.

摘要: There is disclosed a method for controlling a fill speed of an injection unit, the method executable in a computing apparatus configured to control a plunger actuator of the injection unit. The method comprises receiving an indication of a mold-cavity-filling parameter, the mold-cavity-filling parameter being indicative of a number of molding cavities of a multi-cavity mold having been filled; responsive to the mold-cavity-filling parameter satisfying a pre-determined threshold, releasing a control signal to the plunger actuator to control speed associated with a plunger of the injection unit from a first filling speed to a second filling speed.

摘要: An injection molding machine that performs a safe ejecting action of a molded article until a setting state of an ejector rod and a set forward end position for an ejection stroke of a molded article ejector are suitable for a mold in use. A resistor R1 is set to ON when a mold is changed and a resistor R2 is set to ON when a set value of the forward end position of the ejection stroke is changed. When resistor R1 or resistor R2 is ON, ejection is performed with a reduced ejecting force and at a reduced ejecting velocity. When a detected position of the ejector rod reaches the set forward end position, resistors R1 and R2 are turned OFF and thereafter the ejection is performed with a normal ejecting force and a normal ejecting velocity, to thereby prevent damage to the mold or to the molded article ejector.

摘要: The value of a monitor item is detected in a monitor region predetermined in relation to a mold closing operation during the course of a mold clamping step. Emergency processing is performed when the detected value exceeds a threshold value. There are preset an anomalous-state mold opening velocity higher than a normal-state mold opening velocity on the basis of which mold opening control is performed in a normal state, and an anomalous-state-velocity end position at which mold opening control based on the anomalous-state mold opening velocity is ended. Mold opening control based on the anomalous-state mold opening velocity is performed in a portion of the monitor region ranging from a point corresponding to time when the detection value has exceeded the threshold value, to a point corresponding to the anomalous-state-velocity end position.

摘要: A method for calculating the average weight of each of a plurality of portions of material fed from a hopper. The method is carried out by: first weighing the hopper; after the first weighing, dispensing a given plurality of portions of material; then, in a second weighing step, again weighing the hopper; calculating the difference between the weight of the hopper determined in the first weighing step and the weight of the hopper determined in the second weighing step, the difference constituting the loss of weight of the hopper; and dividing the loss of weight of the hopper by the given plurality of portions. The weighing steps may be performed with a weighing device having a load cell and the given plurality of portions is equal to at least the number calculated by dividing the sensitivity of the load cell by the estimated weight of each fed portion.

摘要: A method and system for forming an injection molded plastic part. After the injection of plastic material has started, a volume of gas from a fixed volume reservoir is introduced into the plastic material at a low pressure forming a hollow cavity. The gas is introduced into the mold by a gas pin having a temperature sensing device, such as a thermocouple, positioned on it. The introduction of this volume of gas is initiated when the temperature of the plastic material in the mold has reached a predetermined value. After the mold is filled and packed with plastic, pressurized gas is introduced into the hollow cavity forming the completed plastic part.
