Abstract: A method and apparatus for grayscale adjustment are provided. The method includes steps of: obtaining pixel grayscale values or at least one region grayscale value of an original image; selecting a predetermined grayscale compensation interval, from multiple predetermined grayscale compensation intervals, which corresponds to the pixel grayscale values or the region grayscale value as a ready-to-use grayscale compensation interval; obtaining a grayscale compensation value which corresponds to the ready-to-use grayscale compensation interval; and performing compensation on pixel grayscale values of the original image according to the grayscale compensation value.

Abstract: A TFT array substrate and its manufacturing method are disclosed. The TFT array substrate includes a substrate having a display area and a non-display area, and at least a Schottky diode on the non-display area. The Schottky diode includes an anode layer and a cathode layer on the substrate, a gate insulation layer on the substrate covering the anode and cathode layers, a first gate on the gate insulation layer covering portions of the anode and cathode layers, an inter-layer insulation layer on the gate insulation layer covering the first gate and having a number of vias exposing the anode and cathode layers, respectively, and a first electrode and a second electrode in the vias on the inter-layer insulation layer connecting the anode and cathode layers, respectively. The present disclosure achieves simplified manufacturing process and reduced cost by forming the Schottky diode simultaneously when the TFT is formed.

Abstract: A liquid crystal screen includes an upper polarization sheet, an upper glass plate, a lower glass plate, and a lower polarization sheet that are stacked sequentially. The upper polarization sheet and the lower polarization sheet are bonded to each other by adhesive to form a box having an open end. The upper glass plate and the lower glass plate are received in the box. Side faces of the upper glass plate and the lower glass plate are covered by the adhesive. The upper glass plate and the lower glass plate project out of the upper polarization sheet and the lower polarization sheet from an edge thereof. Areas between the upper and lower glass plates and the edge of the upper and slower polarization sheets are bonded by the adhesive. A liquid crystal display is also provided.

Abstract: A backlight module includes a lamp set, a light guiding plate, a diffuser, a top prism sheet, and a down prism sheet. The diffuser includes a first end and a second end opposite to each other, the first end of the diffuser is closer to the lamp set than the second end, and the diffuser includes a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The diffuser includes the overlapped portion stacked with the top/down prism sheets and the extended portion extending from the overlapped portion. On the first end of the diffuser, the light beams emitted by the light guiding plate may be processed by the first extended portion, instead of being emitted out directly. This can avoid the bright lines occurred by the backlit so as to reduce the optical leakage. In addition, a display device is also disclosed.
