    Abstract: In a saddle riding vehicle including: a swing arm that supports a rear wheel; a sprocket disposed at the rear wheel; and a chain that meshes with the sprocket to thereby drive the rear wheel, the rear wheel includes a rear wheel-side protruding portion that protrudes from the sprocket to an outside in a vehicle width direction, a chain cover fastening portion, to which a chain cover for covering the chain is fastened, is disposed on the outside in the vehicle width direction with respect to the rear wheel-side protruding portion and protrudes to an inside in the vehicle width direction, and the chain cover fastening portion is disposed at a position at which the chain cover fastening portion overlaps the rear wheel-side protruding portion in a vehicle side view.

    Abstract: Diagnosis device verification system includes: a diagnosis device communicably connected to a vehicle controller mounted on a vehicle, and configured to diagnose the vehicle; a simulator configured to perform simulation operation of the vehicle controller; and a verification device configured to verify operation of the diagnosis device. The diagnosis device is configured to output a diagnosis result acquired by communication with the simulator. The verification device includes: an item instruction unit configured to instruct a diagnosis item to be diagnosed to the diagnosis device; a response instruction unit configured to instruct response content corresponding to the diagnosis to the simulator; an information acquisition unit configured to acquire the diagnosis result output from the diagnosis device; and a comparison unit configured to compare the diagnosis result acquired by the information acquisition unit and the response content corresponding to the diagnosis item instructed by the response instruction unit.

    Abstract: A gear position detecting device includes a rotation angle sensor for detecting a turn position of a shift drum and a position sensor for detecting that the shift drum is at a neutral position. The rotation angle sensor is a volume sensor that linearly increases or decreases an output voltage according to a turning motion of the shift drum. The neutral position is set in such a way as not to overlap a dead zone. It is determined according to an output signal of the rotation angle sensor and an output signal of the position sensor whether the shift drum is at a reverse gear position located between the neutral position and the dead zone or a fifth gear position turned by 360 degrees from the reverse gear position. Such detecting device detects a gear position with a high accuracy even if the number of gear positions are increased.

    Abstract: A rubber plug has a tubular sealing function portion that allows an electric wire to pass through the tubular sealing function portion and a tubular low-rigidity portion that allows the electric wire to pass through the low-rigidity portion. The sealing function portion exhibits sealing performance by elastically coming into close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the terminal accommodating chamber and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire. The low-rigidity portion has a lower rigidity than the sealing function portion, and is arranged rearward of the sealing function portion.
