A first wireless communication device identifies a configuration for communicating a first guard interval (GI)-based waveform signal after at least one of a second GI-based waveform signal or a cyclic prefix (CP)-based waveform signal. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, the first GI-based waveform signal including a plurality of first symbols, wherein a beginning symbol of the plurality of first symbols include repetitions of a reference signal sequence based on the configuration.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to performing listen-before-talk (LBT) before a transmission after a link switch in a frequency spectrum shared by multiple network operating entities are provided. A first wireless communication device receives, from a second wireless communication device, a first communication signal. The first wireless communication device determines a first measurement period in a first portion of a gap duration between the first communication signal and a second communication signal, the first portion being adjacent to a start time of the second communication signal. The first wireless communication device performs an LBT based at least in part on a first channel measurement in the first measurement period. The first wireless communication device transmits, to the second wireless communication device, the second communication signal based on the LBT.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to full-duplex cooperative communication by a first device tethered with a second device communicating with a third device. With the tether, one device between the first device and the second device is designated or selected as a transmitter, and the other device as a receiver. In full-duplex operation, the transmitter may transmit outgoing data concurrent to the receiver receiving incoming data. In an example, one of the first and second devices may have a modem that is used to control the full-duplex communication. The modem controls both transmission and reception. In another example, both devices may have a modem. Each modem may assume responsibility for part of the full-duplex communication by performing some processing before either shipping received data, or transmitting outgoing data. The amount of processing may be split at a link layer. Interference cancellation may mitigate interference from full-duplex operation.

摘要: Wireless communications systems and methods related to bandwidth-efficient utilization of peak reduction tone resource are provided. An example method of wireless communications performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station in a first subband, a resource allocation indicating a set of transmission tones comprising a set of first data tones, a set of second data tones and a set of peak reduction tones (PRTs). The resource allocation can indicate the set of first data tones overlaps at least a portion of the set of PRTs at respective locations of a set of PRT locations and the set of second data tones is arranged at a set of data tone locations within a particular bandwidth. The UE can communicate, with the base station in a second subband, a data transmission using an outgoing waveform based at least in part on the resource allocation.

The method generally includes transmitting, to a user-equipment (UE), a packet indicating a beam switch associated with communication with the UE, receiving an acknowledgment (ACK) message, detecting that the ACK message is configured to indicate whether parsing of contents of the packet was successful, determining a timing of the beam switch based on the detection, and performing the beam switch in accordance with the determination of the timing.
