    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication and radar detection. In some aspects, a radar device may perform, at an initial listen before talk (LBT) frame boundary associated with an initial LBT frame of a plurality of LBT frames, an initial LBT procedure, wherein the initial LBT frame has a frame length that is larger than a propagation delay associated with a maximum detectable range associated with the radar device; and transmit a radar signal based at least in part on a successful result of the initial LBT procedure or an additional LBT procedure.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. User equipment (UE), such as vehicles, may implement radar transmissions to detect and avoid potential collisions with a target such as other UE or pedestrians. A first UE may receive an indication of a location of a second UE and an indication of one or more parameters associated with radar transmission from the second UE. The first UE may also receive a radio frequency waveform that includes a first component associated with the radar transmissions from the second UE and a second component that is associated with reflected radar transmission from the first UE. The first UE may compensate for an interference from the first component based on the location of the second UE and the one or more parameters. The first UE may generate a radar image from the received radio frequency waveform based on compensating for the interference.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for coordinated slot-based radar sensing. A first radar device, which may be a radar group leader, may broadcast information indicative of a wireless device group that includes the first wireless device. The first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device that receives the broadcast information, a request to join the wireless device group that includes the first wireless device. The first wireless device may transmit, to the second wireless device based on the request, a grant or rejection to join the wireless device group that includes the first wireless device. The first wireless device may further transmit a transmission schedule to at least one wireless device of the wireless device group, where the at least one wireless device may include the second wireless device if the first wireless device transmits the grant.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration to perform cooperative radar sensing. The configuration may indicate resources for the first UE to use to communicate radar measurement reports. The UE may receive, from another UE on the identified resources, a radar measurement report that includes values for one or more radar measurement parameters for a first radar target and a time stamp associated with the values. The UE may identify a second set of values for the radar measurement parameters (e.g., its own measurements, or measurements received from a third UE in another radar measurement reports). The UE may generate a combined set of values for the radar measurement parameters for each time stamp by combining the first set of values and the second set of values.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) (e.g., a vehicle) may determine a configuration, including an offset value for the radar waveform, for transmitting a radar waveform for multiple radar transmitters. The UE may transmit, according to the identified configuration, a first instance of the radar waveform with a first radar transmitter. The UE may also transmit a second instance of the radar waveform with a second radar transmitter. The second instance of the radar waveform may be offset from the first instance of the radar waveform by the offset value. The Offset value may be a time offset, a frequency offset, or both. The UE may identify at least one object, and may filter our interference between the first instance of the radar waveform and the second instance of the radar waveform based on the offset.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station by initiating a random access procedure with a two-root preamble. The UE may receive, from the base station, control signaling that indicates a set of root preamble sequences. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a preamble signal that is generated based on a first root preamble sequence and a second root preamble sequence of the set of root preamble sequences. The UE may then monitor for a preamble response based on the preamble signal. In some cases, the base station may be a base station in a terrestrial network. In other cases, the base station may be a satellite in a non-terrestrial network (NTN).

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for paging a user terminal (UT) in a non-terrestrial network (NTN), which may define a plurality of NTN tracking areas (TA). Each NTN TA, served by one or more satellite beams, may move or may be a geographic region. The UT may report its location before changing its connection state with the NTN and may also update its location whenever it moves a threshold distance from the previous reported location. The NTN may estimate UT's current location based on the last reported location and other factors including mobility of the UT. The NTN may determine a UT TA as the NTN TA that corresponds to the current location, and may page the UT through one or more satellite beams corresponding to the UT TA.
