摘要: An abrasion resistant material for use in the fabrication of protective garments that has at least two layers, a first layer and a second layer, wherein the first layer is the layer that is exposed to and engages with the abrasive surface, such as a road surface. 摘要: Described herein is a method for producing a biofabricated material from collagen or collagen-like proteins which are recombinantly produced and which contain substantially no 3-hydroxyproline. The collagen or collagen-like proteins are isolated from animal sources, or produced by recombinant DNA techniques or by chemical synthesis. The collagen or collagen-like proteins are fibrillated, crosslinked, dehydrated and lubricated thus forming the biofabricated material having a substantially uniform network of collagen fibrils.

摘要: A laminate includes a first sheet containing first fibers, a second sheet laminated on the first sheet and containing second fibers, and an adhesive disposed between the first sheet and the second sheet. At least a part of the adhesive is disposed in an end portion along the edge side of the laminate so as to form a linear first region, and the first sheet is adhered to the second sheet via the first region. Alternatively, a mass per unit area of the adhesive present in an end portion along an edge side of the laminate is larger than a mass per unit area of the adhesive present in a portion near a central part of the laminate rather than the end portion.

摘要: Disclosed is a one-part, atmospheric curing, polyurethane adhesive composition that includes a polyurethane prepolymer that includes a reaction product of a polyol component and an isocyanate component, the polyol component comprising an unsaturated fatty acid esterified polyol comprising a reaction product of a first polyol and at least one of an ethylenically unsaturated oil and an ethylenically unsaturated fatty acid, the first polyol comprising at least three hydroxyl groups, and a % NCO of from at least 4% by weight to no greater than 7% by weight based on the weight of the prepolymer, the adhesive composition exhibiting a viscosity of no greater than 15,000 centipoise at 60° C., and a T-peel value of greater than 40 grams per 25 millimeter in no greater than 4 hours, a method of making a laminate, and a laminate that includes a one-part, atmospheric curing, polyurethane adhesive composition.

The two layers may be secured to each other at portions located between the strands.

摘要: A film having first and second segments alternating across the film's width direction. The second segments are more elastic than the first segments. The first segments absorb light at a selected wavelength to a greater extent than the second segments. At least some of the first segments have apertures through their thicknesses, and a percentage of area of the first segments occupied by the apertures is greater than a percentage of area occupied by any apertures that may extend through the second segments. Laminates and absorbent articles including such films are also disclosed. A method of making the film is also described. The method includes forming apertures in at least some of the first segments using a laser at the selected wavelength. The first segments have a sufficient absorbance of light at the selected wavelength to form apertures through their thicknesses.

摘要: Provided is a multilayered structure comprising at least one fine cellulose fiber nonwoven fabric layer made of a fine cellulose fiber, wherein the multilayered structure is characterized in that the mean fiber diameter of the fine cellulose fiber forming the fine cellulose fiber non-woven fabric layer is 0.005 to 0.5 μm, and the mean thickness of the multilayered structure is 10 to 200 μm, the density thereof is 0.10 to 0.90 g/cm3, and the permeability resistance thereof is 2000 s/100 ml or more. Also provided are an energy recovery ventilation sheet made of this multilayered structure, an energy recovery ventilation element using this energy recovery ventilation sheet as a partitioning material for partitioning two types of air flow of different temperature and/or humidity, and a energy recovery ventilator using this energy recovery ventilation element.
