The device may include a encapsulation logic that encapsulates data, such as an Ethernet frame, to produce an encapsulated frame. The encapsulated frame may include an encapsulation element that indicates whether the encapsulated data includes non-preemptible data, such as Distinguished Minimum Latency Traffic (DMLT), or preemptible data. The encapsulated frame may also indicate whether the encapsulated data comprises the last fragment of a preemptible frame.

    摘要: An RF front end arrangement comprises first filtering, second filtering, third filtering, fourth filtering and a switching arrangement. The switching arrangement is configured to selectively connect the filtering to plural antennas such that at a particular time the first and third filtering is connected to a first antenna and the second and fourth filtering is connected to a second antenna. This allows filtering with different frequency response characteristics to be in use simultaneously for the same frequency band. This can reduce the insertion loss associated with a signal path.

An access point having a plurality of antennas can send a plurality of sounding frames from the plurality of antennas to a plurality of devices. The access point can assign, based on the responses to the plurality of sounding frames, to each of the at least one static device, a corresponding one of the plurality of antennas for operation in a directional mode for transmissions to the corresponding static device, and the remaining antennas from the plurality of antennas for operation in an omnidirectional mode.

    摘要: A user equipment (UE) is configured with a first configuration for reporting measurement feedback information according to a first reporting cycle using a first set of parameters, and a second configuration for reporting measurement feedback information according to a second reporting cycle using a second set of parameters. The UE switches between the first cycle and the second cycle for reporting for example CQI based on for example comparing a data or a channel measurement against a predefined threshold. In various embodiments the second configuration is fixed, or results in no CQI reporting, or is variable based on a previous cycle or CQI level, or is event-based. In another embodiment, the network commands the UE to switch. The end result is that control signalling overhead can be reduced when appropriate by reducing the number of CQI reports that are sent uplink.

Various aspects of the present invention may comprise receiving a current request from a user for first video information. Such a request may, for example, be received with a user interface module. A first video stream and a second video stream may be received simultaneously, where the first video stream comprises the first video information currently requested by the user, and the second video stream comprises second video information not currently requested by the user. A video receiver module may, for example, perform such receiving. The first video stream may be processed to present the first video information to the user at the current time. Further, the second video stream may be pre-processed in preparation for being presented to the user in the future. A video processing module may, for example, perform such video stream processing.
