    摘要: Embodiments provide WiFi and LTE tailored transceiver radio frequency (RF) filtering techniques and configurations to enable coexistence between WiFi and LTE transceivers operating in close proximity. In particular, embodiments provide filtering techniques to reject emissions from LTE into WiFi, and vice versa. The filtering techniques eliminate the need for additional isolation between LTE and WiFi antennas (approximately 50 dB), which is beyond what is achievable in practice. Embodiments can be tailored according to different use cases of the WiFi and LTE transceivers (e.g., fixed CPE, portable router, smart phone with tethering).

An apparatus may include a plurality of radio frequency (RF) subsystems configured to receive or transmit communication signals; and an interface for communication between a first RF subsystem of the plurality of RF subsystems and at least a second RF subsystem of the plurality of subsystems. The first RF subsystem can be configured to generate a timing offset for a coexistence signal, the timing offset being indicative of a difference between a time of generation of a signal and the time of an event associated with the signal. The timing offset can comprise a fixed offset generated based on at least one of a reference time from a periodic interrupt or direct access of a timer; and an offset adjustment based on a distance between the apparatus and a base station associated with the first RF subsystem.

A mobile communication device can periodically report its geo-fence area to a central server.     摘要: Methods for transporting a media call between an IMS server and a User Equipment (UE) and of handing over the media call between a cellular network and a WLAN are provided. In an embodiment, the media call data and signaling are split such that the data is transported over the WLAN and the signaling is transported over the cellular network. In another embodiment, handover latency is reduced by using a dual registration process that registers the UE with an IMS server using both a WLAN-based contact and a cellular network-based contact. The media call can then be carried over the WLAN and/or the cellular network and can be handed over seamlessly from one to the other within minimal signaling.
