    摘要: A method of conveying an allocation of radio resources on a radio channel for communicating data between a base station and a terminal device in a wireless telecommunications system, wherein the radio channel spans a channel frequency bandwidth divided into frequency resource units which may be selectively allocated for communicating data between the base station and the terminal device, and wherein the method comprises, at the base station, selecting a combination of resource units for communicating the data between the base station and the terminal device from among a predefined set of allowable combinations of resource units, wherein the allowable combinations of resource units include non-contiguous combinations of resource units and wherein the number of allowable combinations of resource units is smaller than the total number of combinations of resource units, and conveying, to the terminal device, an indication of the selected combination of resource units.

    摘要: A radio frequency identification (RFID) system includes an RFID interrogator configured for generating an RFID signal, wherein a channel frequency of the RFID signal changes over time; at least one patch antenna; and at least one feed line configured for feeding the signal to the corresponding at least one patch antenna. In another exemplary embodiment, an RFID interrogator configured for generating an RID signal, wherein a channel frequency of the RFID signal changes over time; at least one transmission line; and a diplexer coupling the RFID interrogator and the transmission lines and configured for distributing the RFID signal to each of the antennas or transmission lines, respectively, depending on the channel frequency of the RFID signal generated. The antennas or transmission lines are configured to transmit an electromagnetic wave in response to and at the channel frequency of the RFID signal distributed thereto.

    摘要: Embodiments of a tunable radio frequency (RF) diplexer and methods of operating the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the RF diplexer includes a first hybrid coupler, a second hybrid coupler, an RF filter circuit, and a phase inversion component. Both the RF filter circuit and the phase inversion component are connected between the first hybrid coupler and the second hybrid coupler. The phase inversion component is configured to provide approximately a differential phase. The RF filter circuit is configured to provide a passband and a notch. The RF filter circuit is tunable to provide the notch on both a high-frequency side of the passband and a low frequency side of the passband. Accordingly, the tunable RF diplexer provides lower insertion losses and higher isolation regardless of whether the one of the diplexed frequency bands is set at higher frequencies or lower frequencies than the other diplexed frequency band.
