摘要: A device for grounding an elevator winder including an electric motor controlled by a semiconductor switching element and a first rotary element coupled to the electric motor. A main rope is wound on the first rotary element and bearings are adapted to support the electric motor and first rotary element. A first grounding circuit grounds the bearings through a resistor and a second grounding circuit grounds the main rope without using a resistor. The main rope may also be wound around a second rotary element.

摘要: This disclosure relates to an electromagnetic brake configured to slow a deceleration rate of a passenger conveyer, such as an elevator car, during braking. In particular, this disclosure relates to a passenger conveyer system including the electromagnetic brake and a corresponding method. An example system includes a controller and an electromagnetic brake. The electromagnetic brake includes a disc configured to interface with a drive shaft, a spring, and a plate biased in a first direction into engagement with the disc by a bias force of the spring. The electromagnetic brake further includes an electromagnet selectively activated in response to a command from the controller to produce a magnetic field attracting the plate in a second direction opposite the first direction to partially offset the bias force of the spring. Further, when the electromagnet is activated, the plate engages the disc.

摘要: A drive engine arrangement for an elevator system includes a drive engine for driving suspension traction media for displacing an elevator car, a fan for generating a fluid flow for cooling the drive engine and a fluid flow sensor. The fluid flow sensor senses the fluid flow generated by the fan. Accordingly, using the fluid flow sensor, it can be determined whether or not the fan is currently operating. By e.g. comparing the fan's behavior with previous operation patterns and/or by additionally measuring a temperature of the drive engine with a temperature sensor, it can be monitored whether the fan is operating correctly or whether e.g. cooling requirements may be compromised due to a malfunction of the fan. Such monitoring can be performed remotely and/or automatically.

A packing (84) is situated to prevent any dust or debris associated with the encoder shaft rotating relative to the seal from getting on the encoder disk.

摘要: The invention relates to a motor drive comprising a rectifier bridge for connection with mains, a converter bridge configured to be connected with an elevator motor and an intermediate DC circuit in-between, whereby between a positive and a negative branch of the intermediate DC circuit at least one capacitor and/or battery is connected,whereby at the mains side of the rectifier bridge a controlled main relay with contacts is arranged, which are configured to connect or disconnect the rectifier bridge with the corresponding mains phase, characterized in that the motor drive comprises a charging circuit being connected between the mains and the rectifier bridge and/or intermediate DC circuit, which charging circuit comprises at least one charging switch connected in series with at least one current limiting component, and which motor drive comprises a voltage sensor connected between the positive and the negative branch of the intermediate DC circuit, which voltage sensor is connected to a fault evaluation circuit comprising at least one reference value and a comparator, which evaluation circuit is configured compare the actual sensor signal of the voltage sensor to the reference value and to operate the main relay dependent on the comparison result.
