摘要: There are provided a thermal-imprinting resin which has a good heat-deterioration tolerability and a low resin elastic modulus at the time of fluidization in order to suppress any production of particle-like materials in microfabrication by thermal imprinting, and has a good fine-pattern transfer characteristic, a thermal-imprinting-resin solution using the same, a thermal-imprinting injection-molded body using the same, a thermal-imprinting thin film using the same and a production method thereof. The thermal-imprinting resin has an exothermic onset temperature (oxidation onset temperature) of an exothermic peak due to oxidation greater than or equal to +35° C. to the glass transition temperature of the resin in differential scanning calorimetric measurement at a temperature rise rate of 5° C./min in air, and has a complex modulus less than 0.24 MPa at the glass transition temperature of the resin +35° C. in a dynamic viscoelastic modulus measurement at a frequency of 1 rad/sec in nitrogen stream. The thermal-imprinting-resin solution, the thermal-imprinting injection-molded body, the thermal-imprinting thin film and the production method thereof use the foregoing resin.

摘要: A thermosetting aqueous-type emulsion of nadimide is disclosed. The emulsion comprises 1-70% by weight of an alkenyl-substituted nadimide, 0.1-20% by weight of protective colloid and/or surface-active agent and balance water. The emulsion is especially useful for making a paint, a coating material or an adhesive because the emulsion can easily be cured only by heating without forming any undesirable organic pollutants. In the past, various resins have been used together with organic solvents. However, because of the recent worldwide concern over the influence of organic solvents to pollution of the aerospace and underground environments, non-use or reduced-use of organic solvents is actively desired. Accordingly, developments of aqueous solution or aqueous-type emulsion of resins are desired. Until now there is no aqueous-type emulsion of a monomer of highly heat resistant polyimide.

摘要: An easy method for detecting injured cell nuclear DNA is provided which does not suffer from "pseudo-positive" staining. The method comprises the steps of subjecting a pathological tissue specimen to acid-hydrolysis to selectively hydrolyze any injured DNA thereby to form single-stranded DNA, then treating the specimen with an anti-single-stranded DNA antibody, and subjecting the specimen to morphological inspection to find the presence of the binding of the antibody to the single-stranded DNA. The binding may be discriminated by a labelling marker on the antibody. Alternatively, a labelled secondary antibody which binds to the anti-ssDNA antibody may be used.

摘要: Recently, as a process for manufacturing cyclopentadiene resin-shaped articles, an attention has been given to reaction injection molding (RIM). To conduct RIM, it is necessary to use high purity dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) as the raw material. Vapor-phase thermal cracking of DCPD is usually used as a step of process for manufacturing high purity DCPD. Hithertofore, when conducting thermal cracking of DCPD, coke formation within cracking tubes is the most serious and troublesome problem. A vapor-phase thermal cracking process for resolving the problem by a very simple procedure is described herein. Further, a process for manufacturing high purity DCPD suitable as a raw material for use in RIM utilizing the vapor-phase thermal cracking process just mentioned above is also described.

摘要: Recently, vinylphenol polymers have received special attention as materials for photoresists, since these materials have excellent transmittance of deep ultraviolet light in the neighborhood of 248 nm. Although particularly useful in this regard, vinylphenol polymers usually contain metal impurities, while photoresists must have high transmittance and extremely low metal content. As a result, vinylphenol polymers satisfying these requirements have not been available on industrial scale. In the present invention, a process for producing such purified vinylphenol polymers, both economically and easily, is realized. In the process of this invention, the vinylphenol polymer solution is hydrogenated and the hydrogenated solution is contacted with a strongly acidic cation exchange resin. In this way, substantially metal-free vinylphenol polymers are obtained.

摘要: When preparing carbon fibers from mesophase pitches, we usually encounter to the formation of cracks along the fiber axis. The crack formation is the most serious and troublesome problem. A simple process which can effectively prevent the crack formation comprises preparing the carbon fibers from mesophase pitches by melt spinning sufficient only to give a rotatory motion to the molten mesophase pitches just before extrusion substantially around the axis of a spinning nozzle hole. The process employs a usual nozzle plate having a pitch introducing tube and a spinning nozzle hole further containing a plug member having an outer spiral groove such as a drill point or a worm gear which is inserted within the pitch introducing tube.
