    摘要: Methods for resin hydrogenation and decoloration may comprise reacting a resin mixture with a sulfided bimetallic catalyst and excess hydrogen under conditions effective to form a hydrogenated resin mixture, the resin mixture comprising an oligomerized reaction product of at least one polymerizable monomer containing an olefinic unsaturation and a solvent; providing the hydrogenated resin mixture directly to a noble metal catalyst; and reacting the hydrogenated resin mixture in the presence of the noble metal catalyst under conditions effective to form a decolorized resin mixture. Decolorized resin compositions comprising a decolorized resin mixture formed in accordance with the foregoing may have a yellowness index of about 10 or below, as measured by ASTM E313.

    摘要: Provided is a method for producing a petroleum resin using a tube-type reactor, the method producing a petroleum resin that exhibits good properties as an adhesive component for a hot-melt adhesive which has a narrow molecular weight distribution and a high softening point, and which exhibits good adhesive capability and also has little insoluble matter. A method of producing a petroleum resin by using a raw material containing at least a cyclopentadiene-based component (A) and a styrene-indene-based aromatic component (B) so as to carry out a thermal polymerization reaction of the raw material, the method comprising: a first polymerization reaction step of thermally polymerizing the raw material using a loop reactor; and a second polymerization reaction step of thermally polymerizing a polymerization reaction product obtained in the first polymerization reaction step using a plug flow reactor.

    摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition includes a resin component (A) in an amount of 97 to 80 parts by mass; and a hitting sound reducing material (B) in an amount of 3 to 20 parts by mass. The hitting sound reducing material (B) is a hydrogenated copolymer derived from hydrogenation of a copolymer formed of a block portion (I) primarily including structural units derived from an aromatic vinyl-based compound, and a random portion (II) primarily including structural units derived from an aromatic vinyl-based compound and derived from butadiene. The structural units derived from an aromatic vinyl-based compound in the block portion (I) and derived from an aromatic vinyl-based compound in the random portion (II) are present in a total content of 55 to 80 mass % relative to a 100 total mass % of the copolymer, and the hydrogenated copolymer has a primary dispersion peak of tan δ at 0° C. or greater.
