摘要: A thermally cross-linkable polymer for forming an elastic material used as foldable intraocular lens is disclosed. The elastic material is a saturated block copolymer with a chemical formula of (Am)i(Bn)j(Af)k or (Am-Bn)pX(Bn-Af)q comprising a polymer A as a hard segment and a polymer B as a soft segment. The polymer A is a polymer formed by polymerizing at least one of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a thermal cross-linking monomer, or a polymer formed by copolymerizing at least one of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a thermal cross-linking monomer with a conjugated diene. The polymer B is a conjugated diene polymer, or a polymer formed by copolymerizing at least one of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a thermal cross-linking monomer with a conjugated diene.

摘要: The present invention relates to a catalyst for a hydrocarbon resin hydrogenation reaction and a preparation method for the same, wherein the catalyst is a nickel powder catalyst including nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), and sulfur (S), and more particularly, a nickel-based catalyst for a hydrogenation reaction, which is added to a hydrogenation reaction in order to improve the color of the hydrocarbon resin. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a catalyst for a hydrogenation reaction, includes 40-80 parts by weight of nickel, 0.01-5 parts by weight of copper, 1-10 parts by weight of sulfur, and 10-60 parts by weight of a silica support based on 100 parts by weight of the entire dried catalyst including a support. Therefore, the catalyst can improve the quality of hydrocarbon resin. Furthermore, the catalyst can provide colorless, odorless, and transparent water-white hydrocarbon resin with improved thermal stability by removing unsaturated bonds in the hydrocarbon resin.

摘要: Methods for resin hydrogenation and decoloration may comprise reacting a resin mixture with a sulfided bimetallic catalyst and excess hydrogen under conditions effective to form a hydrogenated resin mixture, the resin mixture comprising an oligomerized reaction product of at least one polymerizable monomer containing an olefinic unsaturation and a solvent; providing the hydrogenated resin mixture directly to a noble metal catalyst; and reacting the hydrogenated resin mixture in the presence of the noble metal catalyst under conditions effective to form a decolorized resin mixture. Decolorized resin compositions comprising a decolorized resin mixture formed in accordance with the foregoing may have a yellowness index of about 10 or below, as measured by ASTM E313.

摘要: Provided is a hydrogenated block copolymer, which is a hydrogenation product of a block copolymer including a polymer block (A) containing more than 70 mol % of a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block (B) containing 30 mol % or more of a structural unit derived from at least one selected from the group consisting of a conjugated diene compound and isobutylene, the hydrogenated block copolymer being satisfied with the following requirements (1) and (2): Requirement (1): the content of the polymer block (A) in the block copolymer is 1 to 30% by mass; and Requirement (2): when the polymer block (B) is regarded as having a structure with a hydrogenation rate of 100 mol %, an average value of a methylene chain length of a main chain of the structural unit derived from at least one selected from the group consisting of a conjugated diene compound and isobutylene is 1.0 to 6.0.

摘要: A method of exchanging or transforming end groups in and/or improving the ferroelectric properties of a PVDF-TrFE co-polymer is disclosed. A bulky or chemically dissimilar end group, such as an iodine, sulfate, aldehyde or carboxylic acid end group, may be transformed to a hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine atom. A method of making a PVDF-TrFE co-polymer is disclosed, including polymerizing a mixture of VDF and TrFE using an initiator, and transforming a bulky or chemically dissimilar end group to a hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine atom. A PVDF-TrFE co-polymer or other fluorinated alkene polymer is also disclosed. The co-polymer may be used as a ferroelectric, electromechanical, piezoelectric or dielectric material in an electronic device.
