摘要: A more efficient network can be achieved using over the air (OTA) software updates for connected vehicles. Based on a connected vehicles batter power, OTA updates can be performed in accordance with base station devices while the base station devices are not at or near a capacity. Other factors that can determine when and where an OTA software push is performed can comprise vehicle speed, base station communication range, traffic density, etc. Analysis of historical route data for vehicles and historical capacity data for base station devices can also help facilitate determining a wireless network availability for connected vehicles.

摘要: An in-flight entertainment system including wireless access points (WAPs) spaced apart within an aircraft and connected to antennas, proximity sensors adjacent to the antennas, and a controller. The controller controls transmissions from WAPs of traffic in communication sessions. The controller performs operations that include receiving a proximity alert signal from a first proximity sensor indicating that a passenger is proximately located to a first antenna used by a first WAP for transmission of a communication session, and identifying a remedial action responsive to evaluating a rule based on the proximity alert signal and characteristics of the communication session. The operations include performing the remedial action as one of: 1) initiating handover of the communication session from the first WAP to a second WAP; and 2) initiating a change in transmission mode that will be used by the first WAP for continued transmission of the communication session.

A direction to the mobile device for the group leader is determined, based at least in part, on the number of hops to reach the mobile device for the group leader by a number of paths.

Upon detecting that predetermined information is no longer received from the communication target mobile body, the control unit determines a second control amount by which the autonomous mobile robot is to be moved in the direction identified by the direction identifying unit and which indicates a pair consisting of a second absolute velocity value and a second velocity direction, and the control unit generates a second control command to switch the first control amount to the second control amount and move the autonomous mobile robot and outputs the generated second control command to a drive unit.

摘要: A system for reducing message dropout rate in a communication system is provided. Message dropouts occur during transportation of isochronous datasets across a plesiochronous boundary. The system includes a first processing element configured to operate in response to a first clock signal at a first clock speed. The system further includes a second processing element configured to operate in response to a second clock signal at a second clock speed, different from the first clock speed. The second processing element is operably connected to the first processing element by a data bus. The first processing element and the second processing element are configured to indicate a fault when no dataset is received during a processing interval. If two different datasets are received within the same processing interval one of the two datasets is dropped.
