摘要: Methods and systems for managing user accounts based upon the detection of various usage events associated with mobile or other electronic devices are provided. An electronic device may be located within a vehicle. During operation of the vehicle, the electronic device is configured to detect and record various usage events. Based upon the usage events or absence of usage events, either the electronic device or a remote server may determine how one or more user accounts are affected or impacted. The usage events may be related to type of smart phone usage, such as texting, web-surfing, telephone calls, etc., and/or simultaneous vehicle usage (e.g., vehicle movement or rest). The remote server may process the one or more user accounts accordingly and notify the electronic device of the processing. The electronic device may present any detected usage events or account changes via a user interface.

摘要: The disclosure includes embodiments for providing a service to a vehicle via a macro-vehicular cloud. A method, according to some embodiments, is implemented by the vehicle which communicatively coupled to the macro-vehicular cloud via a non-infrastructure network. The macro-vehicular cloud includes a plurality of micro-vehicular clouds which each include a set of onboard vehicle computers that are operable to provide a set of computing resources to the macro-vehicular cloud via the non-infrastructure network. The method includes transmitting, via the non-infrastructure network, a wireless message requesting a merge service from the macro-vehicular cloud. The method includes receiving, via the non-infrastructure network, the merge service from the set of computing resources of the macro-vehicular cloud. The merge service includes the macro-vehicular cloud instructing the vehicle to merge into a lane of a roadway.

摘要: A method comprising: receiving a harvest trace from a mobile device, the harvest trace including a plurality of location fixes each corresponding to a location at a venue, each location fix associated with data including one or more RSSI measurements of one or more wireless signals received from each of a plurality of wireless access points positioned at the venue, the plurality of location fixes including at least two location fixes that have a positional relationship with each other; comparing the data associated with one of the location fixes with data associated with a reference point identified in a radio map of the venue; and updating the radio map of the venue by updating the data associated with the reference point based on the data associated with the one of the location fixes.

摘要: Methods and systems of detection of presence in and delivery to location are provided. A method detects a presence of a mobile device within a perimeter of a geographic region. The method searches a database to determine whether the first mobile device is associated with any existing account. Responsive to determining that the mobile device is associated with a first account, the method searches the database to determine whether there is any pending task associated with the first account. Responsive to determining that there is a pending task associated with the first account, the method transmits a first message indicating the detection of presence of the mobile device associated with the first account. The method determines that the mobile device is at least approximately at a first location of a plurality of predefined locations within the perimeter. The method transmits information associated with the first location to the computing device.

摘要: An automotive vehicle may include a processor configured to buffer records of vehicle information created at a scheduled acquisition rate, and to buffer event files of vehicle information created upon the occurrence of predetermined triggering events. The processor may be further configured to cause the buffered records to be wirelessly transmitted on a last-in first-out basis if a signal strength in a vicinity of the vehicle is greater than a first predetermined threshold, and to cause the buffered files to be wirelessly transmitted if the signal strength is greater than a second predetermined threshold.
