摘要: A water-dispersible sheet with improved water dispersibility is provided. Provided is papermaking fibers containing two kinds of compounds, a specific alkalized fibrous carboxyalkyl cellulose and a specific carboxyalkyl cellulose salt. That is a water-dispersible sheet comprising a papermaking fiber and an alkalized fibrous carboxyalkyl cellulose and further comprising a carboxyalkyl cellulose salt, wherein the degree of etherification of the fibrous carboxyalkyl cellulose is 0.2 to 0.6, the degree of etherification of the carboxyalkyl cellulose salt is 0.5 to 1.6, the viscosity of 1% aqueous solution of the carboxyalkyl cellulose salt measured by Brookfield viscometer is 2 to 200 mPa-s, and the ratio of the carboxyalkyl cellulose salt to the sum of the papermaking fibers and the alkalized fibrous carboxyalkyl cellulose is 0.1 to 10% by weight.

摘要: An airlaid substrate includes at least one bicomponent fiber having a first region and a second region. The first region includes polypropylene and the second includes a blend of an ethylene-base polymer and an ethylene acid copolymer. The ethylene-base polymer has a density from 0.920 g/cm3 to 0.970 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) from 0.5 g/10 min to 150 g/10 min. The ethylene acid copolymer includes the polymerized reaction product of from 60 wt % to 99 wt % ethylene monomer and from 1 wt % to 40 wt % unsaturated dicarboxylic acid comonomer, based on the total weight of the monomers in the ethylene acid copolymer. The ethylene acid copolymer having a melt index (I2) from 0.5 g/10 min to 500 g/10 min.

摘要: A nonwoven web, containing at least one first homogeneous layer consisting of a blend of at least one of defibrated natural plant based fibers, individualized natural plant based fibers and staple fibers is provided. The nonwoven web contains no binder, adhesive or thermal bonding fibers and a basis weight of the at least one homogeneous layer is from 20 g/m2 to 100 g/m2. When a weighted average fiber length of the blend is greater than about 4.0 mm, the nonwoven web is a non-dispersible product which does not meet the requirement for dispersibility in accordance with INDA/EDANA GD4, and when a weighted average fiber length of the blend is less than about 4.0 mm, the nonwoven web is a dispersible product as defined in accordance with INDA/EDANA GD4. Methods to prepare the nonwoven web are provided.

摘要: A composition obtained by combining virgin cellulose fibers, cellulose ester (CE) staple fibers having a denier per filament (DPF) of less than 3, and water, and water. The CE staple fibers can also have a short cut length of less than 6 mm and can be crimped. The compositions, when co-refined, are useful to make wet laid products such as paper, cardboard, and filters that have improved water drainage, air permeability, tensile strength, bulk, burst strength, or stiffness, or a combination of these properties.

摘要: This invention relates to a sheet material comprising fiber and nano-microscale organic fibrillated filler, wherein the nano-microscale organic fibrillated filler comprises microfibrillated cellulose and starch granule in such a way that the microfibrillated cellulose is dispersed with starch granule, and the nano-microscale organic fibrillated filler has starch granule at least 15 wt %. Besides, this invention also relates to a method of producing said sheet material comprising fiber and nano-microscale organic filler, wherein the method comprises the steps of (i) preparing pulp suspension, (ii) preparing nano-microscale organic fibrillated filler, (iii) adding the nano-microscale organic fibrillated filler into the pulp suspension, (iv) forming sheet material by pressing, and (v) drying the sheet material, wherein the preparation step of nano-microscale organic fibrillated filler provides the nano-microscale organic fibrillated filler comprising microfibrillated cellulose and starch granule in such a way that the microfibrillated cellulose is dispersed with starch granule.
