摘要: A process for separation of the cellulosic part from a raw material composition comprising polyester and cellulose is provided. A blend is prepared comprising a raw material composition comprising polyester and cellulose and a hydrolyzing liquor wherein the hydrolyzing liquor comprises a first mixture comprising an alkaline solution containing hydroxide ions. The hydrolyzing liquor is added to give the blend an effective alkali concentration in a range from 5 g/l to 150 g/l, wherein the effective alkali concentration is calculated as NaOH, and the hydrolyzing liquor:raw material composition ratio is from 1.5:1 up to 25:1 and keeping the blend at a temperature of 100° C. or above.

摘要: A recycled cellulose raw material and a method for recycling a cellulose raw material from blended textile waste with high reliability and yielding high raw material quality is shown, the method comprising the steps in the given order: providing the blended textile waste containing at least one cellulose component and at least one synthetic polymer component, treating the blended textile waste in a non-oxidizing aqueous treatment medium in order to degrade the at least one synthetic polymer component, whereby the treatment is carried out at a temperature between 100° C. and 200° C., and obtaining the recycled cellulose raw material from the treated blended textile waste.

摘要: This specification describes a system and process for treating waste, for example municipal solid waste (MSW) or post-recycling municipal solid waste. The system includes a press and a pulper. The press is adapted to provide a wet fraction of the waste suitable for anaerobic digestion and rejects. The pulper is adapted to receive the rejects and produce pulp. The pulper may be, for example, a drum pulper. In the process, waste is separated into a press into an organic fraction and rejects. The organic fraction is treated by way of anaerobic digestion. The rejects are separated, optionally in a drum pulper, to produce a fraction containing pulp. The pulp can be re-used to make paper or other products. In some case, 70% or more or 80% or more of MSW can be diverted from landfill.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention overcome the shortcomings of prior technologies by infusing nanocellulose in a fibrillated form to enhance the properties of cellulose pulp. These properties may include, for example, the mechanical and barrier properties, i.e., tensile strength, liquid, and gas impermeability such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, and oil, can be improved substantially. Another embodiment of the invention further provide a fibrillated cellulose composite material that include properties of being a strength-enhancing agent, an oligomer, carboxylic acid, plasticizer, an antimicrobial agent, water repellant, oil repellant, and/or a transparent composite.
