摘要: The invention relates to a self-supporting polymer film comprising a thermoplastic polymer, a ketone, and at least one organic photochromic molecule comprising a chromophore, wherein preferably the at least one organic photochromic molecule comprising a chromophore is evenly distributed in the self-supporting polymer film. A typical self-supporting polymer film of the invention is a self-supporting photochromic aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethane film imbibed with a ketone such as acetone and cyclohexanone, further comprising one or more of a diarylethene, a spirooxazine and a naphthopyran, preferably a polydialkylsiloxane-substituted naphthopyran. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacturing of such a self-supporting polymer film of the invention, and to the use of such a self-supporting polymer film in the manufacturing of an article. Furthermore, the invention relates to an article comprising a self-supporting polymer film of the invention.

摘要: Disclosed herein are water-soluble films and resulting packets including a water-soluble film coated by a powder, wherein the powder includes a mixture of a powdered lubricant and an active agent. Optionally, the active agent may be encapsulated, e.g. microencapsulated, for release of the active agent through mechanisms including, but not limited to, mechanical rupture, melt, ablation, dissolution, diffusion, biodegradation, or pH-controlled release. Active ingredients described include enzymes, oils, flavors, colorants, odor absorbers, fragrances, pesticides, fertilizers, activators, acid catalysts, metal catalysts, ion scavengers, bleaches, bleach components, fabric softeners and combinations thereof. Examples of packet fills include laundry detergents, bleach and laundry additives, fabric care, dishwashing, hard surface cleaning, beauty care, skin care, other personal care, and foodstuffs.

摘要: A moisture barrier laminated film (10) includes: a plastic film (A) having an inorganic barrier layer (A1); a moisture trapping layer (B) containing an alkali component; and a coating layer (C) provided between the inorganic barrier layer (A1) and the moisture trapping layer (B). In the coating layer (C), a moisture permeability at 40° C. and 90%RH is 6.0 × 104 g/m2/day or less, and a storage modulus E′ (at 2π rad/s) in viscoelasticity measurement at 85° C. is 30 MPa or more.

摘要: There is provided a multilayer structure comprising at least a barrier resin layer (X) and an inorganic barrier layer (Y) with a thickness of 500 nm or less which is adjacent to the barrier resin layer (X), wherein the layer (X) is made of a resin composition (x) comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) and a polyamide (B) in a mass ratio (A/B) of 55/45 to 98/2, and the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) has an ethylene content of 20 to 46 mol % and a saponification degree of 90 mol % or more. Thus, there can be provided a multilayer structure having excellent gas barrier properties and appearance even after being subjected to stretching process or retorting process followed by bending process, and a packaging material for retort therewith.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for preparing an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composite material including the following steps: providing a substrate material having medical grade ultra high molecular weight polyethylene powders, drying the substrate material to obtain fully dried UHMWPE powders, and pressing the fully dried UHMWPE powders to form a UHMWPE board; immersing the UHMWPE board into a graphene oxide solution and performing an ultrasonic induction by an ultrasonic processor such that the graphene oxide solution infiltrates into the UHMWPE substrate to obtain an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene composite material with excellent biocompatibility and tribological properties. The graphene oxide can be adsorbed and evenly spread on the surface of UHMWPE substrate by ultrasonic induction to form a lubricating film which can effectively reduce wear.
