摘要: A multi-layer protective element for thermal insulation of a battery, a battery with such a protective element and the use of such a protective element are proposed. The protective element comprises a foam layer, a compressible fibre layer in the form of a sewn non-woven needled fibre fleece, and preferably one or two protective layers containing mica. This allows high compressibility as well as good insulation properties.

摘要: Unique insulation articles including corrosion inhibitors and methods of producing the same are disclosed. One exemplary embodiment is an article of manufacture comprising an insulation mat comprising a cured combination of a plurality of randomly oriented fibers and a binder, the insulation mat extending between a first surface and a second surface, a veil attached to the first surface, the veil structured to inhibit physical movement of the cured combination through the veil, a metal sheet attached to the second surface by a water-containing adhesive contacting the metal sheet and the second surface, and a corrosion inhibitor composition deposited on the cured combination of the insulation mat, the corrosion inhibitor composition being effective to modify toward neutral a pH of the cured combination in contact with water from the water-containing adhesive.

摘要: A method is provided for growing a fiber structure, where the method includes: obtaining a substrate, growing an array of pedestal fibers on the substrate, growing fibers on the pedestal fibers, and depositing a coating surrounding each of the fibers. In another aspect, a method of fabricating a fiber structure includes obtaining a substrate and growing a plurality of fibers on the substrate according to 1½D printing. In another aspect, a multilayer functional fiber is provided produced by, for instance, the above-noted methods.

The method includes collecting the tile material, conversion of the tile material into a plurality of body members, assembling a finite baseboard by arranging the plurality of body members on a carrier layer and fixing them thereto, and conversion of the baseboard into at least two tiles.

摘要: Resin-rich mica tapes comprising one or more than one layer of mica paper and one or more than one layer of a nonmetallic inorganic fabric, in particular a glass fabric, which are pre-impregnated with an impregnation resin composition comprising an epoxy resin with more than one epoxy group, which is solid or semisolid at ambient temperature, a latent curing agent for said epoxy resin, about 5 to about 20% by weight of hexagonal boron nitride of a particle size (D50) of equal or less than about 3 μm, about 0.05 to about 1% by weight of a wetting agent and a suitable solvent which is removed after pre-impregnation of the mica tape with the impregnation resin mixture are useful to prepare electrical insulations with excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric dissipation factor.

摘要: A method for the generation of a gas mixture comprising carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and optionally hydrogen for use in hydroformylation plants or in carbonylation plants, including mixing an optional steam with carbon dioxide in the desired molar ratio, feeding the resulting gas to a solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) or an SOEC stack at a sufficient temperature for the cell or cell stack to operate while effecting a partial conversion of carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide and optionally of steam to hydrogen, removing some or all the remaining steam from the raw product gas stream by cooling the raw product gas stream and separating the remaining product gas from a liquid, and using said gas mixture containing CO and CO2 for liquid phase synthesis reactions utilizing carbon monoxide as one of the reactants while recycling CO2 to the SOEC or SOEC stack.
