摘要: A resin producing method is a method of producing a resin with which an insulating structure formed on an outer peripheral portion of a conductor is impregnated. The resin producing method includes a dispersion liquid mixing step of mixing an epoxy resin and a dispersion liquid in which a nanofiller is dispersed in a reactive diluent that reduces a viscosity of the epoxy resin by reacting with the epoxy resin, and a curing agent mixing step of mixing a composition produced by the dispersion liquid mixing step, with a curing agent that cures the epoxy resin. The epoxy resin includes, for example, an alicyclic epoxy resin.

摘要: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a solid insulation material based on a resin containing epoxy groups for production of an anhydride-free insulation system by means of VPI. The material comprises: an anhydride-free curing catalyst; and an additive for improving distribution of the anhydride-free curing catalyst, wherein the additive comprises a phenyl carboxylate. The additive is present in an amount based on the epoxy groups in the resin containing epoxy groups which is present in the impregnating agent of at least 0.1% in stoichiometric terms.

摘要: The invention relates to a slot sealing compound (7) for an electrical machine that comprises at least one slot (2) with a slot opening (5) for receiving an electrical conductor arrangement (3). Said slot sealing compound (7) contains a magnetic filler material, particularly a soft-magnetic filler material, and a reactive resin mixture that comprises at least one resin component. In the interests of improving storage stability for said slot sealing compound (7), the components thereof are selected to be suitable for cationic polymerisation. A catalyst, provided to accelerate the cationic polymerisation of said reactive resin mixture, is also added to said slot sealing compound (7).

摘要: A method of operating a nuclear reactor includes operating a valve actuator to open and close a valve in fluid communication with a nuclear reactor fluid control system. The valve actuator includes a motor having windings of magnet wire. The magnet wire includes a layer of insulating material disposed over a conductor. The layer of insulating material comprises polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and has a thickness between about 0.025 mm and about 0.381 mm. A method of replacing a valve actuator motor with such a motor having windings formed of PEEK-insulated magnet wire is also disclosed. A method of coupling a valve actuator with such a motor having windings formed of PEEK-insulated magnet wire to a valve is also disclosed.

摘要: An insulating composition containing silica particles, a resin, and a curing agent, wherein: when an aqueous solution of the silica particles having an SiO2 concentration of 3.8% by mass is heated at 121° C. for 20 hours, the amount of Na ions eluted from the silica particles is 40 ppm/SiO2 or less, especially, wherein the amount of Na ions eluted from the silica particles after the heating may be 5-38 ppm/SiO2, and, the silica particles may contain a polyvalent metal oxide so the ratio by mole of a polyvalent metal M to Si is 0.001-0.02; the mass ratio of Na2O/SiO2 in the silica particles may be 700-1,300 ppm; and the silica particles may have, on the surfaces thereof, a layer having a thickness of 0.1-1.5 nm and an Na2O/SiO2 mass ratio of 10-400 ppm, and may have an average particle diameter of 5-40 nm.
