摘要: A crosslinked fluororesin-coated rotor manufacturing method is a method for manufacturing an annular outer rotor of an internal gear pump including the outer rotor, and an inner rotor, a side surfaces of the outer rotor being coated with a crosslinked fluororesin, an inner peripheral surface of the outer rotor not being coated with the crosslinked fluororesin, the method including: using an outer masking jig for covering the inner peripheral surface in a state where the side surfaces of the outer rotor are exposed; coating the outer rotor with an uncrosslinked fluororesin in a state where the outer masking jig is mounted to the outer rotor; and then irradiating the fluororesin with radiation in a state where the outer masking jig is removed from the outer rotor, to crosslink the fluororesin.

摘要: A selective film deposition method includes exposing a substrate having a structure on which a first surface region containing a metal element and a second surface region containing a nonmetal inorganic material are both exposed, to a solution containing an organic substance represented by formula (1) shown below and a solvent to deposit a film of the organic substance on the first surface region selectively over the second surface region: R1(X)m (1) wherein R1 is a C4-C100 hydrocarbon group optionally containing a heteroatom or a halogen atom, and m hydrogen atoms of the hydrocarbon group are replaced with X; X is —PO3(R2)2, —O—PO3(R2)2, —CO2R2, —SR2, or —SSR1; each R2 is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl group; and m is a positive integer, and m/r is 0.01 to 0.25 where r is the number of carbons of the hydrocarbon group.

摘要: Methods of applying a polymeric coating to a rear face surface of golf club heads with variable face thickness are disclosed herein. The coating, which preferably comprises polyurea, improves the durability of the face and reduces the hits to failure ratio of the golf club head. The coating improves the performance of the golf club head because it allows for reduction in overall face thickness and easy post-process manipulation to allow for fine-tuning of mass properties after production. The reduction in thickness leads to overall weight reduction, because the polymer is roughly a quarter of the density of titanium or stainless steel, and also reinforces the face, thereby increasing the lifespan of the club.

摘要: Systems and methods for protecting threads of metal pipes while coating the metal pipes with a protective coating are disclosed herein. Innovative metal couplings are used to protect the threads while a protective coating is applied to the metal pipes. The couplings are reusable and result in multiple efficiency improvements over previous methods and systems. Benefits include elimination of plastic caps and reduced waste, improved flowthrough in the powder coating process, more efficient thermo transfer in the thermal chamber, and an increase in the overall capacity of the powder coating operation.

摘要: A method of coating a flexible substrate in a roll-to-roll deposition system is described. The method includes unwinding the flexible substrate from an unwinding roll, the flexible substrate having a first coating on a first main side thereof; measuring a lateral positioning of the first coating while guiding the flexible substrate to a coating drum; adjusting a lateral position of the flexible substrate on the coating drum depending on the measured lateral positioning of the first coating; and depositing a second coating on the flexible substrate, particularly on a second main side of the flexible substrate opposite the first main side.
