    Abstract: An electrolyte for use in an electrochemical cell. The electrolyte includes a first layer having a thickness of about 1 μm to about 40 μm and a second layer having a thickness of about 5 μm to about 60 μm. The first layer includes, based on a total weight of the first layer, about 10 wt. % to about 40 wt. % of first solid-state electrolyte particles, about 1 wt. % to about 15 wt. % of lithium, and about 1 wt. % to about 65 wt. % of fibrils including carbon and fluorine, The second layer includes second solid-state electrolyte particles.

    Abstract: A solid secondary battery and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The solid secondary battery includes a cathode layer, an anode layer, a solid electrolyte layer provided between the cathode layer and the anode layer, wherein the cathode layer includes a cathode current collector and a cathode active material layer provided on one surface or two surfaces of the cathode current collector. The cathode active material layer includes a composite cathode active material, and the composite cathode active material includes a composite of M2S, an alkali metal salt, and an inorganic electronic-conductive structure, wherein M is an alkali metal, and the alkali metal is Li or Na. The inorganic electronic-conductive structure has an electronic conductivity of 11×10−3 S/cm or more, and the composite includes a solid solution of the M2S and the alkali metal salt.

    Abstract: The application provides a secondary battery and a device including the same. The secondary battery includes a negative electrode plate that includes a negative electrode film, where the negative electrode film includes a negative electrode active material; electrolyte that includes an electrolyte salt, an organic solvent and an additive, where the negative electrode active material includes a silicon-based material; the organic solvent includes dimethyl carbonate (DMC); and the additive includes one or more of compound shown in Formula 1 as discloses in the application, where, R1 is selected from one of C2˜C4 alkylene or halogenated alkylene, C2˜C4 alkenylene or halogenated alkenylene, C6˜C18 arylene and derivatives thereof. Under the premise of having a high energy density, the secondary battery and the device including the same according to the application can also have good high-temperature cycle performance and high-temperature storage performance.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an electrode assembly, and a secondary lithium battery including the same. The electrode assembly is configured by alternately stacking two or more positive electrodes and one or more negative electrodes using a separator as a boundary therebetween, outermost positive electrodes are positioned on outermost opposite surfaces of the electrode assembly, respectively, each of the outermost positive electrodes includes a positive electrode current collector, a positive active material layer formed on one surface of the positive electrode current collector, and a non-reversible material coating layer formed on the other surface of the positive electrode current collector and including lithium oxide, and the non-reversible material coating layer is positioned on an outermost surface of the electrode assembly.

    Abstract: A negative electrode plate, a secondary battery and an apparatus thereof are provided in the present application. The negative electrode plate includes a negative electrode current collector and a negative membrane disposed on the negative electrode current collector, and the negative membrane includes a first coating layer and a second coating layer. The first coating layer is located on an outermost layer of the negative membrane and includes a first negative active material including a silicon-based material and a carbon material, and in the first coating layer, a mass percentage of the silicon-based material is 0.5% to 10%. The second coating layer is disposed between the first coating layer and the negative electrode current collector and includes a second negative active material including a silicon-based material and a carbon material, and in the second coating layer, a mass percentage of the silicon-based material is 5%-50%.
