Abstract: An alkaline dry battery includes: a bottomed cylindrical case; a hollow cylindrical positive electrode inscribed in the case; a negative electrode filled in a hollow part of the positive electrode and including a negative electrode active material containing zinc; a separator disposed between the positive and negative electrodes; an alkaline electrolytic solution; and a sealing unit. The alkaline electrolytic solution is contained in the positive and negative electrodes, and the separator. The sealing unit covers an opening of the case and includes a negative electrode current collector, a portion of the negative electrode current collector being inserted into the negative electrode. An additive is packed in a gap between the negative electrode and the sealing unit. The additive includes a wax component having a melting point of 60° C. or more and 110° C. or less. The wax component being an aliphatic hydrocarbon compound and/or an ester compound.

Abstract: A preparation method of a positive electrode slurry includes a first stirring, a second stirring, a third stirring and a fourth stirring. In the first stirring, a positive electrode active material, a conductive agent and a first binder are mixed and stirred to prepare a dry mixture. In the second stirring, a second binder and a solvent are mixed and stirred to prepare an adhesive solution. In the third stirring, the dry mixture and the adhesive solution are mixed and stirred to prepare a primary slurry. In the fourth stirring, a solvent and the primary slurry are mixed and stirred to prepare a positive electrode slurry. The weight average molecular weight of a polymer in the second binder is smaller than the weight average molecular weight of any polymer in the first binder.

Abstract: A Cathode material and a preparation method therefor and use thereof are provided. The cathode material includes a cathode active substrate, and a surface of the cathode active substrate is coated with a carbon coating layer, wherein a surface of the carbon coating layer has an esterophilic group. The invention changes the surface energy of the carbon coating layer by introducing the esterophilic carbonyl to the surface of the carbon coating layer of the cathode active substrate, thereby significantly improving the wettability of the cathode active particles to the electrolyte. Moreover, the bulk structure of the active material is not changed, so the electrochemical performance of the cathode active material is guaranteed. The cathode plate prepared by the invention shows excellent wettability in the electrolyte, and a prepared battery shows low internal resistance, high energy efficiency and other characteristics.
