摘要: An automatically cleanable milk filter includes a cylindrical housing with an outer wall, a first end with a first liquid connection, and above a second end with a second liquid connection. A concentric cylindrical filter part and a cylindrical core placed concentrically within the filter part are accommodated in the housing. The filter part includes wire having a tapered cross-sectional profile in a spiral shape or as a series of parallel rings or rods, and a frame for keeping them spaced apart, thereby forming a plurality of filter openings. The filter part divides the filter volume into a first volume part which is directly connected to the first liquid connection, and a second volume part which is directly connected to the second liquid connection. The second volume part includes a cylindrical part, as well as a top part which narrows at a transition to the second liquid connection.

摘要: A cyclone separator in a dishwasher includes a first housing, a second housing provided inside the first housing, a first filter piece provided inside the second housing, and a back flow part. A waste collection chamber is provided between the second housing and the first housing. The first filter piece encloses and forms a first filter chamber. A flow passage is provided between the first filter piece and the second housing. The flow passage is in communication with the first filter chamber via filter holes, and the waste collection chamber is in communication with the flow passage. An inlet pipe is in communication with the flow passage. A flow medium enters the cyclone separator via the inlet pipe, and forms a cyclone in the flow passage. An outlet pipe is in communication with the first filter chamber, and the flow medium exits the cyclone separator via the outlet pipe.

摘要: A screen intake has a central body with two screens attached on either end. Each of the screens has an interior that communicates with a hollow of the body via flow modifiers. These flow modifiers include one or more pipes disposed in the interior of the screens and through passages in ends of the body. A flow control support device disposed within the body supports the body's sidewall and divides the hollow into at least two portions—each communicating with flow from one of the flow modifiers. The device can include one or more plates disposed adjacent one another within the internal hollow with a peripheral edge attached to an inside of the body's sidewall. At least one of the one or more plates can be solid, or one or more of the plates can define openings therein allowing passage of at least some fluid therethrough.

摘要: A system for TFF filtration of a feedstock includes a feed vessel containing a solution comprising a target biomolecule, a filter membrane for filtering the solution, a feed pump for moving the solution from the feed vessel to the filter membrane, a buffer vessel coupled to the feed vessel by a buffer supply line, and a diafiltration pump disposed in the buffer supply line for delivering a buffer solution to the feed vessel. A variable path-length instrument is coupled to the feed line for determining, in real time, a concentration of the target biomolecule in the solution. A controller is coupled to the variable path-length instrument, the feed pump, and the diafiltration pump to control operation of the system based on the received information.

摘要: A method of filtering a liquid feed is described, comprising passing a liquid feed through a single pass tangential flow filtration (SPTFF) system and recovering the retentate and permeate from the system in separate containers. A method of filtering a liquid feed is also described comprising passing a liquid feed through a tangential flow filtration (TFF) system, recovering permeate and a portion of the retentate from the system in separate containers without recirculation through the TFF system, and recirculating the remainder of the retentate through the TFF system at least once. The methods of the invention can be performed using an SPTFF or a TFF system that comprises manifold segments to serialize the flow path of the feed and retentate without requiring diverter plates.
