The modifying group has a structural formula of —X-A-R, wherein X is selected from SO3 or PO4H, A is selected from a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon group containing 6 to 20 ring atoms, or an imidazolinyl group, and R is selected from a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted siloxy group containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms, or an alkylolamide group containing 2 to 20 carbon atoms.

The grayscale compensation method, by acquiring at least one set of image data corresponding to bonding point grayscale values of the display panel, and by dividing the display panel into a main display region and sub-display regions through the image data, can determine grayscale compensation values corresponding to pixels in the sub-display region according to the average gamma value of each sub-display region, which can increase precision of a single grayscale compensation of the pixels in the display panel.
