    摘要： A technique facilitates filtration of solids from a well fluid to during a pumping operation. The system may comprise a downhole pump, e.g. a downhole rod lift pump, having a pump housing through which a well fluid is moved during pumping of the well fluid. The pump housing is configured to receive a filter assembly which filters solids from the well fluid during pumping. The filter assembly may comprise a strainer having a filter section and a strainer bushing affixed to the filter section. The filter section may have a plurality of filter holes sized to aid in the filtration of solids. The filter assembly also may comprise a mechanical hold down having an interior sized to receive the filter section. An external bushing is secured to the mechanical hold down in a manner which holds the filter section within the mechanical hold down.

    摘要： A water inlet protection system is provided. The system may an adjustable frame defining an interior cavity, the adjustable frame including a plurality of rigid base members, a plurality of slidable corner members, a plurality of nut-and-bolt fasteners, and one or more tabs extending from one or more of the corner members. Each of the slidable corner members includes one or more slots, and each of the nut-and-bolt fasteners includes a bolt that extends through one of the one or more slots and one of the rigid base members. When the respective bolt is loosened, the respective slidable corner member is slidable along the respective slot atop the respective rigid base member, thereby altering a boundary of the interior cavity. When the respective bolt is tightened, the respective slidable corner member is fixed in place atop the respective rigid base member, thereby fixing the boundary of the interior cavity.

    摘要： A filtering apparatus is configured to receive pressurized fluid from a pump. The filtering apparatus has a main inlet, a main outlet, and a filtering branch comprising a first filter. An agitator of a tank from which the pump draws is configured to receive fluid flow from the filtering branch via a proportional valve and an inlet connection. A method of operating a filtering system includes influencing fluid flow from a tank to one or more nozzles via a filtering apparatus; and diverting a portion of the fluid flow through plural filters of a different mesh size back to an agitating mechanism through a lower portion of the tank.
