摘要: A filter device 2 is provided with: a filter body 3 equipped with a filtering material 30; and a mesh-like filter cover 5 that is mounted to the filter body 3 in such a manner as to cover at least part of a filtering surface 32 of the filtering material 30. The filter cover 5 is provided with: a purification part 50 which includes multiple layers formed by folding a single sheet of metal mesh material and which has a rectangular shape that is substantially identical to that of the filtering surface 32 in a plan view; and a first leg 51 and a second leg 52 which intersect with the purification part 50 in a side view. The metal mesh material has a finely corrugated surface formed thereon. The entire outer peripheral edge 59 of the filter cover 5 is completely fitted within the filtering surface 32.

摘要: A fabrication method for a water-absorbent filter includes obtaining a homogenized tragacanth suspension by dissolving tragacanth in a solvent, where the solvent may include distilled water, ethyl acetate, acetic acid, and formic acid, obtaining a support layer by coating a stainless steel mesh with a thin layer of a hydrophobic polymer, coating a stainless steel mesh with the thin layer of the hydrophobic polymer comprising electrospinning a hydrophobic polymer solution onto the stainless steel mesh, forming a tragacanth nanofibrous web on the support layer by electrospinning the homogenized tragacanth suspension onto the support layer, and cross-linking the tragacanth nanofibrous web by exposing the tragacanth nanofibrous web to a saturated vapor of a cross-linking agent.

摘要: A multi-layered replaceable filter assembly (100) and a microfilter assembly (200) for providing safety from external exposure. The multi-layered micro filter assembly includes plurality of filter membranes. A first filter membrane (104) prevents particles greater than 10 micron from entering the multi-layered replaceable filter assembly (100). A second filter membrane (106) has embedded activated carbon that destroys micro-organisms including viruses and bacteria. As we go further downstream, the fiber density per cm keeps increasing with the filter membranes. A fifth filter membrane (112) made up of a combination of crabyon fiber and electro-spun nano fibers provides comfort and anti-allergic effect. A sixth filter membrane (114) lowers the velocity of air that occurs from breathing and a method thereof.

摘要: The filter for gel shearing and particle filtration of molten polymer has a first layer of metal fibers of an average equivalent diameter between 8 and 65 μm. The cross-section of the metal fibers has two neighboring straight sides with an included angle of less than 90° and one or more irregularly shaped curved sides. The metal fibers have an average length of at least 6 mm. The metal fibers are bonded to each other by metal bonds; where the metal of the metal fibers of the first layer is the bonding agent forming the metal bonds. The filter has a second layer of metal fibers. The average equivalent diameter of the metal fibers of the second layer is smaller than the average equivalent diameter of the metal fibers of the first layer.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices for phytochemical extraction. One example extraction system includes two solvent columns, a material column, and a dewaxing column. The solvent columns store and provide solvent for stripping target chemicals from plant material in the material column. The solvent mixed with target chemicals passes into the dewaxing column, where the target chemicals are separated from waxes and lipids. Cooling is applied to elements of the system by way of an open-loop CO2 refrigeration method. Solvent is moved from the solvent columns to the material column by creating a pressure differential between the two solvent columns.
