摘要: Disclosed herein is a lighting system including a bulb. The bulb includes a phosphor plate, and a scanning projector to emit a beam of collimated light and scan the beam of collimated light across the phosphor plate to thereby cause emission of light by portions of the phosphor plate impinged upon by the beam of collimated light. Control circuitry wirelessly receives configuration data and modulates the beam of collimated light during scanning so that the scanning forms a projection pattern on the phosphor plate. A control system is spaced apart from the bulb and processes the initial configuration data, and wirelessly sends the configuration data to the control circuitry of the bulb. A mobile wireless communications device wirelessly sends initial configuration data to the control system.

摘要: A lifestyle LED lighting solution is configured with a timer to convert from performing a first illumination mode to performing a second illumination mode at a preset time point controlled by the timer, wherein the first illumination mode and the second illumination mode are designed to perform different lighting characteristics including a light intensity and a light color temperature. The first illumination mode is a general illumination mode while the second illumination mode is an energy saving mode. The timer can be an anytime setting timer, a fixed time point timer, a fixed time period timer or a clock timer. The anytime setting timer is also usable for replacing a photo sensor to automatically turn on and turn off an LED light. The clock timer can be used for controlling on/off performance of the LED light according to a clock time schedule.

摘要: In various embodiments, an energy harvesting unit (102, 402, 502, 602, 702, 902) may be configured to convert captured light into current. Logic (104, 404, 504, 604, 704, 904) operably coupled with the energy harvesting unit may be configured to detect a current fluctuation at the energy harvesting unit. The current fluctuation may be caused by a corresponding fluctuation in light captured by the energy harvesting unit. The logic may be further configured to determine that the detected current fluctuation matches a predefined current fluctuation pattern associated with deliberate modulation of light captured by the energy harvesting unit. In some embodiments, the logic may generate appliance control data for controlling one or more appliances (120, 130, 132) based on the matching predefined current fluctuation pattern. In some embodiments, the logic may control light output by one or more light sources (960).

The system may comprise a power supply that includes a first input to receive AC power, a second input to receive a control signal, and an output to transmit DC power. A light emitting diode (LED) array may receive DC power from the power supply. A master control unit may receive DC power from the power supply. The master control unit may comprise a first control line to send a control signal to the power supply to control the LED array and a second control line to control one or more modules. The system may further comprises one or more connectors mounted to a circuit board where at least one of the one or more connectors is electrically coupled to the output of the power supply and the second control line.

The environmental data is used as input to a machine learning model that predicts at least one attribute affecting control of the environment within the man-made structure. For example, the machine learning model might predict load on the environmental system, resource consumption by the environmental system, or cost of operating the environmental system. The environmental system for the man-made structure is controlled based on the predicted attribute.

The smart light bulb may be configured by reading configuration information from a memory in the smart fixture. The two or more smart light bulbs may be interconnected with one another with communication links to make up a mesh network. Non-bulb devices may be connected to the mesh network.

摘要: An automated dimming load controller automatically measures the relationship between the current draw and the dimmer setting for each light or group of lights connected to the load controller. Once measured, the relationship between the current draw and the dimmer setting can be used to enable the dimmer controller to adjust the lights between their minimum and maximum effective illumination. This automatic setting of the dimmer controller may be performed regularly to accommodate changes in performance or replacement of any of the connected lights, drivers or ballasts.

摘要: A mobile device that is configured for wireless communication may be configured to operate as a remote control device in a lighting control system, controlling one or more lighting control devices of the lighting control system. The remote control device may control the light intensity in a space, for instance at a location of the remote control device, in response to an ambient light intensity measured at the remote control device. The remote control device may define a user interface for receiving an input that indicates a desired light intensity at the location. The remote control device may measure the ambient light intensity at the location via a light detector, compare the measured ambient light intensity to the desired light intensity, and cause the one or more lighting control devices to adjust the ambient light intensity at the remote control device until it agrees with the desired light intensity.
