Abstract: The present disclosure provides an intelligent lighting control system. A detector circuit of a lighting control module detects a line voltage of an electrical line connected to a power terminal of the light control module. The lighting control module is configured to cause a transmission of a quantity of electrical energy to a lighting circuit of a light fixture electrically connected to the lighting control module. The lighting control module reduces a flow of electricity transmitted to the lighting circuit to turn off the respective light fixture in response to detecting substantially no change in the line voltage over a pre-specified period of time.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is system level occupancy counting in a lighting system configured to obtain an indicator data of a RF spectrum signal (signal) generated at a number of times in an area. At each respective one of the number of times, apply one of a plurality of heurist algorithm heuristic algorithm coefficients to each indicator data of the signal, based on results of the application of the heuristic algorithm coefficients, generate an indicator data metric value for each of the indicator data for the respective time. The lighting system is also configured to process each of the indicator data metric value to compute a plurality of metric values for the respective time and combine the plurality of metric values to compute an output metric value for each of a plurality of probable number of occupants in the area for the respective time. The lighting system is further configured to determine an occupancy count in the area at the respective time based on the computed output metric value.

Abstract: A tangible, non-transitory, machine-readable medium, comprising instructions to obtain an estimated time of arrival for an occupant of a household; calculate a transition time to reach a desired temperature of the occupant from a current ambient temperature within the household; if, the estimated time of arrival is less than or equal to the transition time, activate a transition to the desired temperature; otherwise if the estimated time of arrival is greater than the transition time, do not activate the transition.

Abstract: A control module of a wall lamp is relocated from a conventional arrangement of installing the control module in a mounting bracket located behind the light body to an easy-access location integrated with the light body in the front such that a user can easily adjust at least one operating parameter to manage a lighting performance of the wall lamp. The control module may include at least a control unit and a cover. In one embodiment, the control unit is rotatable such that an operating parameter adjusting element can be rotated to an easy-access location for making an adjustment. In another embodiment, the operating parameter adjusting element is fixed at an easy access location with the cover being designed with an opening covered by an openable device. The user may rotate the openable device to uncover the operating parameter adjusting element for making an adjustment.

The load control device may be connected to a variety of local and remote devices, including lighting devices and smart appliances, as well as various cloud service platforms. The load control device may receive a voice command from a user. The load control device may transmit the voice command to a first cloud service platform for processing to determine an instruction included in the voice command. The determined instruction may be provided to a second cloud service platform connected to the first cloud service platform. The first and second cloud service platforms may be connected to a device to be controlled based on the voice command. The cloud service platforms can adjust an operation of the device based on the determined instruction.
