摘要: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a first connector including a first housing portion having top and bottom surfaces and a second connector including a second housing portion having top and bottom surfaces. The second housing portion has a form factor substantially corresponding to a form factor of the first housing portion. A circuit board having top and bottom surfaces is permanently coupled to the first housing portion and to the second housing portion such that a first portion of the bottom surface of the circuit board contacts at least a portion of the top surface of the first housing portion and a second portion of the bottom surface of the circuit board contacts at least a portion of the top surface of the second housing portion. A contact assembly is coupled to the first housing portion and electrically and directly engages a portion of the bottom surface of the circuit board.

摘要: A contact element for connecting an electrical conductor and a conductor terminal with such a contact element are provided. The contact element includes a conductor insertion area in which there are two opposite first side walls, a first floor section connecting the first side walls and a first cover section opposite the first floor section. The first side walls, the first floor section and the first cover section limit a conductor insertion channel. One or both first side walls each have at least one spring tongue freed from the first floor section and the first cover section, which tongue forms a clamping point for clamping an electrical conductor by means of a spring force.

The contact portion is movable with respect to the first opening portion. The protector is movable with respect to the second opening portion.

摘要: Various connector and sensor assemblies are described. In some embodiments, the connector and sensor assembly comprises a connector and a sensor assembly. The connector can have an opening that has a first surface and second surface that are opposite each other. The connector can have a plurality of retractable electrical connectors that extend from the first surface and a lock structure that is located on the second surface. The sensor assembly is comprised of a body portion and a proximal end. The proximal end has a top side and a bottom side. The top side includes a plurality of electrical contacts that is configured to interact with the plurality of retractable electrical connectors. The bottom side includes a key structure that is configured to interact with the lock structure in the connector.

摘要: A floating connector is provided. The connector has a mating interface configured to move so as to align with a mating component. The connector has a housing having the mating interface. Conductors held by the housing may have mating contact portions adjacent the mating interface for connecting to the mating component when inserted into the mating interface. The connector may have a frame configured to be fixed to a board to which the connector is mounted. The housing is configured to be movable in the frame. The connector may have elastic positioning members disposed between the housing and the frame, such that the elastic positioning members enable the housing to move within the frame for properly aligning the mating interface with a mating component and bias the housing to return to an initial position when the mating component is removed.
