Abstract: The connector is a wire-to-board connector for connecting, through mating with a partner connector mounted on a circuit board, the circuit board to one or more connection target cables that have a first electroconduction path used for transmitting high-frequency signals, a second electroconduction path used for shielding, and a plurality of third electroconduction paths. The connector is provided with a first contact connected to the first electroconduction path, a second contact connected to the second electroconduction path, third contacts connected to the third electroconduction paths, and an insulator. The second contact has an inter-contact shielding section arranged between a first contact section and third contact sections. The first contact section and the inter-contact shielding section are arranged on both sides, in the pitch direction, of a plurality of third contact sections. The inter-contact shielding section is arranged between the first contact section and the third contact sections.

Abstract: An electrical connection assembly includes two electrical connectors and a bridge connector. Each of the two electrical connectors includes plural terminals and an insulation housing that accommodates the terminals. The bridge connector is located between the two electrical connectors. The bridge connector includes an insulation body, a conductive plastic, plural signal terminals, and plural ground terminals. The conductive plastic is covered by the insulation body. The ground terminals and the signal terminals of the bridge connector are arranged at intervals. The ground terminals of the bridge connector are in electrical contact with the conductive plastic. When two opposite sides of the insulation body are respectively coupled to the two electrical connectors so as to be surrounded by the two electrical connectors, the ground terminals of the bridge connector are respectively in electrical contact with the ground terminals of the two electrical connectors.

Abstract: A tool-less fastening device for an edge card is provided. The edge card is accommodated in a fastening frame, and the fastening frame is then inserted into an electric connector. In an assembly process, the edge card is fastened with the fastening frame without using any tool, and a user only needs to engage the edge card into the fastening frame; next, the fastening frame is inserted into the electric connector without using any tool, and the user only needs to engage the fastening spring clips disposed on two opposite sides of the fastening frame with two anus of the electric connector, so as to complete a fastening operation. The fastening frame and the electric connector can be prevented from being separated from each other when being shaken during manufacturing or shipment process. Therefore, the edge card can be fastened with the electric connector without using any tool.

Abstract: A connector includes a contact including a contact point to be electrically connected to an external apparatus when a connecting terminal of the external apparatus is pressed against the contact point, a protection member for protecting the contact point, and a base body storing the contact and the protection member.
