摘要: Provide is a sample analysis tool whose reactivity and reproducibility in analysis can be prevented from decreasing. The sample analysis tool 10 of the present invention includes a development member 11 and a plastic base 16, and at least part of the development member 11 is in contact with the plastic base 16. The sample analysis tool 10 further includes a hydrophilic component layer 15, and the hydrophilic component layer 15 is formed on part or the whole of at least one of a surface of the plastic base 16 and a surface of the development member 11. It is particularly preferable that the hydrophilic component layer 15 contains sucrose or N-methyl glucosamine. In the sample analysis tool 10 of the present invention, since the hydrophilic component layer 15 is formed on part or the whole of at least one of the surface of the plastic base 16 and the surface of the development member 11, it is possible to prevent the adhesion of a hydrophobic component(s) derived from the plastic base 16.

摘要: Disclosed are devices or apparatus and methods for membrane-, bead- or cell-based biomolecule analysis, where a detectable signal can be measured after affinity binding and/or enzymatic reaction occurs on the membranes, beads or cells. The apparatus or device can rapidly separate the beads or cells from the liquid solution without using centrifugation, vacuum, or magnetic force. The apparatus or device includes a sample well for receiving a sample containing cells or beads, as well as other aqueous solutions, a porous filter membrane at the bottom of the well which is capable of retaining the cells or beads on its upper surface by size exclusion, and an absorbing plug in touch with the filter membrane for removing the liquid solution. Multiple devices can be arranged in a multi-well array in a plate so that signals from multiple assays can be directly analyzed in a plate reader or an imaging instrument.

摘要: A dynamic sensor interface is provided. Such a dynamic sensor interface may include a reaction layer that includes a biological-based or chemical-based ink that reacts in response to a molecule of interest, a porous membrane that allows for the molecule of interest to pass through to a side that is in contact with the reaction layer, and an adhesive substrate. The reaction of the ink may include a change in a visual appearance of the ink, such as a change in color, transparency, movement within the reaction layer, three-dimensional expansion, three-dimensional contraction, or a tactile change. The reaction layer may include one or more microfluidic channels arranged in a predetermined arrangement such that movement through the microfluidic channels visually indicates detection of the molecule of interest. The reaction of the ink may further include a change in an olfactory property or a thermal property.
