Abstract: A reverse-input blocking clutch, comprising a pressed member, an input member, an output member, and an engaging element, the pressed member including a first pressed member element having a pressed surface around an inner peripheral surface thereof and a second pressed member element having a mounting portion fixed to a portion that does not rotate during use, the engaging element configured to transmit rotational torque input to the input member to the output member by moving in a direction away from the pressed surface and to completely block rotational torque reversely input to the output member or transmit a part of the rotational torque reversely input to the output member to the input member and block a remaining part thereof.

Abstract: A mechanical backstop is provided which comprises a housing, an input impact gear, a frictional plate, a floating impact gear, and an output impact gear. The floating impact gear is movably mounted between the input impact gear and the output impact gear to achieve transmission. The frictional plate is fixed relative to the housing and disposed at a side of the floating impact gear close to the input impact gear. When the input impact gear transmits a torque to the floating impact gear, the floating impact gear floats toward the output impact gear to separate from the frictional plate and transmit the torque to the output impact gear. When the floating impact gear transmits a torque reversely, the floating impact gear floats toward the input impact gear to abut against the frictional plate and achieve reverse locking.

Abstract: A self-contained clutch for diesel engines for off-highway implementation is provided. A stationary friction disc, pressure plate and endplate sandwich a pair of rotating separator discs. Attenuation of vibration damping of the rotator discs may be achieved by a centrifugal weight. A pulse-width-modulated DC motor or valve is employed in association with a hydraulic actuator to control pressure to the clutch piston. An RFID tag uniquely identifies the nature and parameters of the clutch itself and is associated with the clutch such that the controller can most efficiently operate the clutch. Heat is dissipated by an oil pump servicing the support bearings and/or by the integration of a centrifugal fan into the heat disc stack.
