摘要: A commercial vehicle includes at least one driven axle, a service brake, at least one propulsion engine, and wheels. A parking brake function of the vehicle is achieved by a bistable locking means that acts on both wheels. A first and second multi-speed gearbox having respective first and second gear stages are each activated by an actuator and coupled to the wheels. The parking brake function is achieved at least in-part by concurrently activating the first and second gear stages. A computing device is configured to activate the bistable locking means when the commercial vehicle is at a standstill and configured to send a brake request via an electronic signal to an electronic brake control unit to activate the service brake.

摘要: A claw clutch for positively connecting a first rotatable component to a second rotatable component. A claw clutch for motor vehicles having an electric drive train which permits a reliable connection of the claw clutch when tooth-on-tooth positions are released and, at the same time, reduces the number of moving elements on the sliding sleeve. A clutch body, which is arranged on the first rotatable component for conjoint rotation therewith, has a first tooth system and a sliding sleeve, which is arranged on the second rotatable component in a manner which allows conjoint rotation and axial movement, has a second tooth system and is axially movable via a shift fork by an actuator system in order to load a spring element by the actuator system in the case of a tooth-on-tooth position. The spring element to be loaded is arranged outside the second rotatable component equipped with the sliding sleeve.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for operating an electromagnetic pulse disconnect assembly for selectively engaging two rotating components of a vehicle drivetrain. A disconnect assembly is needed that is not powered by vacuum diverted from an engine of the vehicle, as modern engines are being developed to reduce vacuum production and remove vacuum lines for powering peripheral devices such as disconnects. An electromagnetic pulse disconnect assembly is provided that operates via pulses of electrical current and includes an electromagnetic coil for translating a clutch ring assembly and a latching ring assembly to selectively couple two rotating components.

The engaged body, the engaging body, and the power source are accommodated in a closed space, and the hub member is at least a part of an outer shell forming the closed space.

摘要: An electromagnetic clutch device includes meshing member connected to a first rotational member, a biasing member that biases the meshing member in a direction where a second meshing portion is meshed with a first meshing portion, and a pressing mechanism including a locking portion that presses the meshing member against a biasing force of the biasing member so as to axially move the meshing member. The locking portion is axially immovable relative to the second rotational member, and a cylindrical cam member is provided with a plurality of locked portions to be locked at different axial positions. Locking of the locking portion is shifted from one of the plurality of locked portions to another locked portion placed at a different axial position, and friction torque is caused to synchronize rotation of the first rotational member with that of the second rotational member.

The front axle shift mechanism includes a disconnect feature housing defining an inner cavity to house a shifting mechanism configured to selectively provide power to front wheels of the vehicle, the shifting mechanism configured to rotatably couple to the front differential. The inner cavity is configured to receive a second lubricant to facilitate providing lubrication to the first clutch gear and the second clutch gear. The second lubricant is fluidly separate from the first lubricant.

摘要: According to an embodiment of the invention, a drive coupling for connecting to a drive is provided. The drive coupling is adapted to removably couple a load to a power source. The drive coupling includes a body and a plurality of components. The components are operably interconnected with each other. The components have a first arrangement in which the components transmit torque from the power source to the load and a second arrangement in which the components transmit no significant torque from the power source to the load. A first of the plurality of components is adapted to translate along its center of rotation relative to a second of the plurality of components from a first position in which the components define the first arrangement to a second position in which the components define the second arrangement.

摘要: An actuator drive disconnection system comprises a housing and a drive coupling mounted in the housing, the drive coupling coupling a drive motor to an actuator drive train. A manually operable drive disconnection mechanism selectively moves the drive coupling from a first position in which the motor and actuator drive train are coupled and a second position in which the motor and actuator drive train are disconnected. The drive disconnection mechanism comprises an operating element which is manually extended from the housing to move the drive coupling from the first position to the second position.

摘要: An actuator with an indexing guide, first and second indexing rings, an actuator output, a spring and a motor. The indexing guide has a first cam. The first indexing ring is slidably mounted to the indexing guide and includes a second cam. The second indexing ring is slidably and rotatably disposed on the indexing guide and has spline teeth, which engage the first cam, and a third cam that engages the second cam. The spring exerts a force onto the second indexing ring that drives the second indexing ring toward the first indexing ring. The motor is configured to reciprocate the first indexing ring so that cooperation between the second and third cams and between the spline teeth and the first cam causes axial and rotational movement of the second indexing ring about an actuation axis.
