Abstract: A method is for estimating coefficients of friction for a vehicle, in particular utility vehicle, which can be driven by an electric drive. The method includes the steps of: operating, with a torque, a wheel of the vehicle, in particular utility vehicle, that is arranged on an underlying surface; ascertaining the slip of the wheel; applying a temporally predetermined excitation torque to the wheel, wherein the excitation torque is applied to the wheel periodically with a frequency; ascertaining a change in slip depending on the excitation torque, wherein the change in slip is ascertained taking into account the frequency; and ascertaining a coefficient of friction on the basis of the change in slip.

Abstract: A rotor carrier for an electric machine having a sleeve-shaped receiving region and at least one flange-like carrier region connected to a hub or shaft. Abstract: A three-point link having two control arms forming an acute angle and meet at a central joint. The central joint has a cylindrical dome extending perpendicular to a plane defined by the control arms. The central joint has a joint ball penetrated by the dome. To prevent separation of the central joint, it has a captive securing device which functions as a stop that extends perpendicular to an axial direction. The securing device is penetrated by the dome and is secured against axial withdrawal by an annular securing element. Viewed in axial direction, the annular securing element is arranged on a side of the captive securing device) remote of the joint ball and engages in a circumferential groove of the dome. The annular securing element is snugly surrounded in radial direction by the captive securing device to prevent a withdrawal of the annular securing element from the circumferential groove.

Abstract: A steering system for use in turning steerable vehicle wheels includes a steering wheel and a housing. A pinion is in the housing and connected to the steering wheel such that rotation of the steering wheel results in rotation of the pinion about a rotational axis relative to the housing. A first bearing rotatably supports a first end of the pinon in the housing. A second bearing rotatably supports a second end of the pinon in the housing. A worm wheel is meshed with the pinion in the housing and connected to steerable vehicle wheels. The worm wheel transfers torque from the steering wheel to the steerable vehicle wheels to effect turning of the steerable vehicle wheels. A pressing device applies a pressing force to the second end of the pinion via the second bearing to urge the pinion toward the worm wheel.

Abstract: A steering system for use in turning steerable vehicle wheels includes a gear in a housing and rotatable relative to the housing via an electric motor. A planetary gear stage is in the housing and has a sun gear, a planetary gear meshed with the sun gear, and a carrier connected to the planetary gear. Rotation of the gear urges the sun gear to rotate about an axis. Rotation of the sun gear urges the planetary gear to rotate relative to the housing and orbit the sun gear. The carrier is urged to rotate about the axis in response to the planetary gear rotating relative to the housing and orbiting the sun gear. A bearing has a first race on the gear and a second race on the carrier. The gear and the carrier are rotatably supported in the housing on one another via the bearing.

First and second fluid rings are provided at opposite ends on the stator yoke. The first fluid ring has a fluid inflow opening from a stator housing. The stator yoke has a plurality of axial stator ducts extending in the axial direction, which enable the inflowing fluid to flow through from the first fluid ring to the second fluid ring, and the second fluid ring redirects some of the fluid.
