    摘要: A centrifugal compressor includes a tubular shape casing extending in an axial direction, a motor stator fixed to an inside of the casing in a radial direction, a shaft disposed inside of the motor stator in the radial direction and extending in the axial direction, a motor rotor fixed to the shaft and facing the motor stator with a gap in the radial direction, a compression unit fixed to an end portion of the shaft on one side in the axial direction, a first thrust magnetic bearing disposed between the motor rotor and the impeller in the axial direction, and a second thrust magnetic bearing disposed on an other side in the axial direction relative to the motor rotor. A magnetic attraction force of the second thrust magnetic bearing toward the other side is larger than a magnetic attraction force of the first thrust magnetic bearing toward the one side.

    摘要: Provided are a turbo compressor and a centrifugal chiller comprising the same with which the length of a shaft in an axial direction can be shortened, rotational shake accompanying rotation of the shaft is suppressed, and a device can be made small. A turbo compressor comprising: a compressor part which compresses refrigerant; a shaft (15) which drives the compressor part around an axis of rotation X; a magnetic bearing (30A) which has provided thereto an iron core part (32) comprising a plurality of teeth parts (34) formed at equiangular intervals around the axis of rotation X, and, a plurality of coils (36) respectively wound around the plurality of teeth parts (34), and said magnetic bearing (30A) allows the shaft (15) to pass through and supports said shaft (15) without contacting the same; an auxiliary bearing which allows the shaft (15) to pass through; and a displacement sensor (50) which detects displacement of the shaft (15), wherein the displacement sensor (50) is provided between neighboring coils (36).

    摘要: To realize a reduction in cost and extension of the lifespan of a auxiliary bearing which is disposed adjacent to a non-contact bearing supporting a rotor shaft of a centrifugal compressor. A centrifugal compressor (2) includes: a rotor shaft (15); an electric motor (14) provided at an intermediate portion of the rotor shaft (15) in a coaxial manner with the rotor shaft (15), the electric motor (14) being configured to rotationally drive the rotor shaft (15); an impeller (16) fixed to one end of the rotor shaft (15) and forming a refrigerant compressing unit (7) which compresses a refrigerant; main bearings (18a, 18b) formed of non-contact bearings pivotally supporting the rotor shaft (15) at a portion between the electric motor (14) and the impeller (16), and at another end of the rotor shaft (15); auxiliary bearings (19a, 19b) disposed adjacent to the main bearings (18a, 18b), the auxiliary bearings being configured to pivotally support the rotor shaft (15) in place of the main bearings (18a, 18b) in a state where functioning of the main bearings (18a, 18b) stops; and a lubricating refrigerant supply unit (25) configured to supply the refrigerant as a lubricant to an inside of the auxiliary bearings (19a, 19b) in the state where the functioning of the main bearings (18a, 18b) stops.
