    摘要: A compressor wheel for a compressor of a turbocharger has a hub (16) and a multiplicity of blades (12) on the hub (16). In intermediate spaces of the multiplicity of blades (12), a channel is in each case formed between a suction side (24) and a pressure side (26). The channel guides fluid that flows in axially in relation to a rotation axis (22) radially or radially-axially outward. The hub (16) in relation to the rotation axis (22) in at least one channel is contoured with a rotationally symmetrical portion (18′) and a non-rotationally symmetrical portion (18). The non-rotationally symmetrical portion (18) is formed by radii that are variable in the flow direction, and a transition region (28) between the hub (16) and the blade (12) adjoins the non-rotationally symmetrical portion (18).

    摘要: A rotor having spiral pathways to enable liquid or gas to flow from a center to an exterior thereof. The spiral pathways increases power generated (input force) as liquid/gas travels therethrough. The spiral pathway rotor includes an inner disk and an outer disk. Inner disk includes a central opening for receiving the liquid/gas and is connected to a plurality of pathways that extend toward an outer edge in a spiral manner. Nozzles may be utilized to expel the liquid/gas. Outer disk includes an open interior having a plurality of teeth formed on an interior surface. The teeth are configured to receive the liquid/gas expelled from inner disk which causes the rotor to rotate and thus increases the input force thereof. The input force is amplified to an output force on a shaft connected thereto.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an air-floating centrifugal compressor, including a motor, an impeller, an air inlet, an outlet port, and a connection pipe. The motor includes a housing and a rotor, a first chamber and a second chamber are arranged at two ends inside the housing, and an air-floating radial bearing is arranged on the rotor. The impeller is fixed to the end of the rotor and is located in the first chamber and/or the second chamber. The air inlet of the first chamber is connected to the air inlet, and the air outlet is connected to one end of the connecting pipe, the air outlet of the second chamber is connected to the outlet port, and the air inlet is connected to the other end of the connecting pipe.

    摘要: A rotary roof vent consisting of a base, an impeller, an axle holding/supporting a rotating rim with blades and a cover. The impeller is solid and formed as a rim with stiffeners, and the blades are located at the outside edges of the rim. A hollow sleeve is positioned at the central part for receiving an axle. The blades are formed having a convex shape. A protrusion positioned at an acute angle disposed at the end of each blade. Another protrusion is disposed at obtuse angle to the blade and is positioned closer to the center. The blades are inserted into the impeller by 20% in relation to the base diameter. The impeller stiffeners having arch shaped configuration are adapted to follow a contour of the blades.

    摘要: A counter-rotating supersonic compressor. A first subsonic rotor includes a plurality of unshrouded impulse rotor blades operating at sub-sonic conditions. A second, supersonic rotor includes a fixed second rotor portion and an adjustable second rotor portion. The fixed second rotor portion includes a plurality of supersonic passageways having converging-diverging sidewalls, and internal boundary layer bleed passageways. The adjustable second rotor portion includes a plurality of centerbodies which are disposed in the supersonic passageways. Helical movement (circumferential and axial) movement of the adjustable second rotor portion with respect to the fixed second rotor portion enables upstream and downstream movement of the centerbodies in the supersonic passageways. This movement facilitates ease of supersonic startup, and automatic adjustment for changes in operation conditions, such as pressure, temperature, or mass flow rate of a working fluid such as carbon dioxide.
