    摘要: A regeneration module is usable in conjunction with a diesel engine to control the operation of a regeneration cycle of the diesel engine. During the regeneration cycle, particulate matter collected in or on a diesel particulate filter of the diesel engine is removed to improve the operation of the diesel particulate filter. In various embodiments, the regeneration module only functions when manually activated by a user of the diesel engine such that the regeneration cycle is only initiated during desirable idle periods of the diesel engine.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for monitoring the pollutant emissions of a combustion engine comprising at least one piston, the translatable movement of which defines a combustion chamber, said engine being combined with an exhaust line that, in the direction of exhaust gas flow, comprises an oxidation catalyst, an NOx reduction catalyst, and a particle filter, the method being characterized by the use of a fuel comprising an additive assisting in soot combustion when re-refined by the particle filter, and according to at least one operating mode of the engine, the fuel is injected in accordance with a calibration minimizing carbon dioxide discharges by the engine.

The invention is characterized in that it comprises means (8) for analyzing the loading state of the pollution management means and means (8) for comparing same to threshold values, to implement the first regeneration strategy for states with load lower than the threshold values or the second regeneration strategy for states with load higher than the threshold values.
