摘要: This invention discloses adhesive compositions useful for providing cohesive strength to particles, for example a mat of wood particles produced while making particleboard prior to curing. The adhesive compositions has a) one or more biopolymers and b) one or more monomers or oligomers. An oligomer may have a degree of polymerization of 4 or less. The weight ratio of the monomer/oligomer to the biopolymer is optionally between 30:70 and 80:20. Optionally, the adhesive compositions may be combined with an isocyanate. The adhesive composition may be used to make no added formaldehyde wood composites such as particleboard.

摘要: Provided are a superabsorbent polymer exhibiting excellent biodegradability without deterioration in physical properties of the superabsorbent polymer, such as water retention capacity, absorbency under pressure, etc., and a preparation method thereof. The biodegradable superabsorbent polymer comprises a base polymer including a crosslinked polymer of a non-modified or acidic group-containing modified polysaccharides and a first crosslinking agent, wherein at least part of the base polymer is crosslinked by a second crosslinking agent, the first crosslinking agent includes a cyclic carboxylic acid anhydride, and the second crosslinking agent includes an epoxy-based compound.

摘要: A composition contains a silylated polysaccharide, where the silylated polysaccharide is characterized by: (a) having linked fructose, galactose, anhydrogalactose, or glucose saccharide units provided that glycosidic linkages of glucose are alpha linkages and that the silylated polysaccharide is other than a silylated starch; and (b) on average 1 to 100 mole-percent of the hydroxyl groups on the polysaccharide have been silylated with a silyl group having the structure —SiR3 linked to the polysaccharide through a C—O—Si bond where each R is independently selected from hydrocarbyl radicals having from one to 12 carbon atoms, provided that on average at least one R per polysaccharide has a terminally unsaturated carbon-carbon double bond.

摘要: A method of producing a solid soap containing at least one image embedded within the solid soap includes printing an image on a dissolvable substrate to form an image layer, bringing the image layer into contact with molten soap and allowing the soap to harden so as to embed the image layer within the solid soap. The dissolvable substrate can be a printable icing or frosting sheet and the image can be a high-resolution image. The soap can include a background layer against which the image is visible.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pregelatinized starch having a Brabender hot paste viscosity (HPV) of at least 200 BU when measured at a pH of at most 4.5. The starch is used to provide a viscosity and pulpy texture to a food product and is resistant to processing under extreme conditions of heat, acidity and shear. Examples of food products which highly benefit from the properties of the starch include compotes; sauces and preparations based on tomatoes; meat sauces; gravies; baby foods; puddings; cereals; fruit juices and fruit-drinks; fruit sauces such as apple sauce; confectionary such as textured gum drops; cookies, crackers, cakes and pastries comprising fruits; soups; and dry powdered mixes which may be reconstituted with water.

摘要: A biodegradable polyester composition based on a total weight of the biodegradable polyester composition, including a weight content of cyclopentanone which is 0.5 ppm-85 ppm is provided. The cyclopentanone is added into the composition and controlling the content of cyclopentanone in the composition within a range of 0.5 ppm-85 ppm to realize a lubrication degree of a film of biodegradable polyester during a blow molding process. When a velocity of film blowing is 176 Kg/h, a range of a film thickness is less than 0.2 μm and a relative deviation of the film thickness is less than 1%.

摘要: [Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cellulose composite whereby the cellulose composite itself disperses stably even when ions are blended in a high concentration in a beverage, and also has excellent suspension stability.[Solution] A cellulose composite comprising cellulose, an anionic polysaccharide not having a chemically crosslinked structure, and water-absorbent particles comprising a compound having a chemically crosslinked structure wherein the cellulose composite has a viscosity of 10 mPa·s or higher when 1 mass % of the cellulose composite is dispersed in an aqueous solution in which 0.45 g of sodium bicarbonate is dissolved in 100 mL of pure water.

摘要: A composite material may include at least one thermoplastic resin; and from 5 to 180 parts by weight of granular shive from hemp and/or flax, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the at least one thermoplastic resin, with particles having an average particle size lower than 0.2 millimeters (mm). A method for the manufacture of a composite material may include: melting the at least one thermoplastic resin; mixing the at least one molten resin with from 5 to 180 parts by weight, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the at least one thermoplastic resin, of granular shive from hemp and/or flax with an average particle size lower than 0.2 mm; and cooling the mixture obtained in order to form the composite material.
