摘要: A hybrid vehicle and an air-conditioning system thereof. A heating part of the air-conditioning system may be provided with an electric heating device (120, 220) and a water heating device (130, 230), the electric heating device (120, 220) is turned on and the water heating device (130, 230) is turned off when the temperature of engine cooling water is lower than a preset temperature threshold, and the electric heating device (120, 220) is turned off and the water heating device (130, 230) is turned on when the temperature is higher than the preset temperature threshold. A refrigerating part of the air-conditioning system may comprise a mechanical compressor and selected auxiliary power units (20) as a portion of a plurality of auxiliary power units, and when cold air flow needs to be supplied, an air-conditioning controller (110, 210) sends an enabling instruction to a power controller (61) to control the selected auxiliary power units (20) to enter a forced working mode. The air-conditioning system of the present invention can rapidly supply heat while reducing electricity consumption of a whole vehicle, and can also achieve good refrigerating effects in low cost and reduce energy consumption. The air-conditioning system according to the present invention is especially suitable for a series hybrid vehicle with a plurality of auxiliary power units.

摘要: A solar-thermal powered recreational vehicle featuring a solar-thermal air conditioning system integrated with a solar clean energy system to provide a recreational vehicle having improved energy efficiency. In an embodiment employing the principles of the present invention, the solar-thermal powered recreational vehicle can comprise a clean energy system for providing electrical power to the recreational vehicle, whereby the clean energy system features one or more solar photovoltaic panels, a batter bank, and a generator operatively coupled to a hybrid inverter. The solar-thermal air conditioning system is powered by the clean energy system, with the solar-thermal air conditioning system featuring a solar-thermal collector panel functioning to superheat compressed refrigerant prior to the compressed refrigerant being transmitted to the condenser. Because the compressor is the most energy-intensive component in the traditional direct expansion AC system, the use of free solar energy by the present invention to reduce the work load on the compressor significantly reduces the overall energy requirements of the recreational vehicle, thereby providing a recreational vehicle capable of operating on solar and battery power alone for significant periods of time.

The example system further includes a controller configured to determine a protective start value for the HVAC compressor, and to perform, in response to the protective start value, a start-up operation for the HVAC compressor. The start-up operation includes de-coupling the electric machine and the HVAC compressor from the driveline of the vehicle, and performing a controlled start of the HVAC compressor with the electric machine.

摘要: The vehicle described herein employs an electronic control unit (“ECU”) and/or accessory control module configured to improve actual fuel economy. The ECU and/or the accessory control module monitors vehicle operating conditions and reduces load from an accessory when the vehicle achieves predetermined operating conditions. The ECU and/or the accessory control module is also configured to engage a fuel cut and a torque converter lock up condition. The lock up condition causes the wheels to drive the motor to avoid engine stall. At a predetermined low level, the ECU and/or the accessory control module can re-engage the accessory and fuel supply and disengage the lock up condition.

摘要: A motor vehicle includes a hybrid drive having an internal combustion engine and an electric drive motor, and an air conditioning system having a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant, and an electric motor configured to operate the compressor and to start the internal combustion engine as electric starter when being coupled with the internal combustion engine. The electric motor has an inverter to operate the electric motor directly with high voltage of a high-voltage onboard electrical system of the motor vehicle so as to enable the electric motor to apply a mechanical torque for re-staring the internal combustion engine in case of need in the absence of any assistance from the electric drive motor. A clutch device mechanically couples the electric motor of the air conditioning system with the internal combustion engine in response to a control signal.
