    Abstract: A charging device includes a charging pile, a pulley set, a charging cable, a charging gun, and a positioning member. The charging pile has an inner space and a top opening. The pulley set is disposed in the inner space. The charging cable has a fixed end wound on the pulley set and a connecting end extending out of the inner space through the top opening. The charging gun includes a grip part, a charging connector, and a cable connecting part. The connecting end of the charging cable is inserted into the cable connecting part. The cable connecting part has a connecting hole and a limiting slot located in the connecting hole. The positioning member is sleeved on the connecting end and located in the connecting hole.     Abstract: A cable management system for an electric charging station for an electric vehicle and a method for managing a cable of a charging station are provided. The cable management system comprises a braking device located at a cable outlet of the electric charging station, the braking device having a free pulling zone having free pulling bristles and a braking zone having braking bristles, the braking bristles being stiffer than the free pulling bristles and the braking bristles being configured to at least partially immobilize a charging cable outside of the cable outlet of the electric charging station by applying friction to the charging cable to brake any movement of the cable into the charging station during charging of the electric vehicle, the friction applied to the charging cable by the braking bristles being higher than by the free pulling bristles.
