摘要: The present disclosure relates to an oral pouched snuff product comprising a filling material and a saliva-permeable pouch enclosing the filling material, the oral pouched snuff product having a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction perpendicular to said longitudinal direction, the saliva-permeable pouch comprising a first elongated seal and a second elongated seal, each of said first and second elongated seals having a seal length extending along the transverse direction of the product and a seal width extending along the longitudinal direction of the product, wherein the seal width of said at least one elongated seal being equal to or less than 2 mm, such as within the range of from 0.1 mm to 2 mm or from 0.1 mm to 1 mm or from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm. There is also provided a container having a base and a detachable lid together providing an interior container space in which a plurality of these oral pouched snuff products is contained.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for producing an oral pouched snuff product comprising a filling material (29, 10) and a saliva-permeable pouch (43) enclosing the filling material (29, 10), the product (29, 10) having a moisture content of at most 20% by weight, in particular at most 10% by weight, based on total weight of the product (29, 10), the saliva-permeable pouch (43) having one or more seals (45, 46), and said filling material (29, 10) comprising at least 20% by weight, based on dry weight of the filling material (29, 10), of at least one ingredient having a melting temperature below 180° C., the method comprising ultrasonically welding and cutting an advancing web (32) of packaging material (7) to which the filling material (29, 10) has been supplied. The present disclosure also provides an oral pouched snuff product which is obtainable by this method.

摘要: An ultrasonic sealing anvil is provided which is capable of applying an optimal pressure to an overlap part in the absence of misalignment between the overlap part and the anvil, and preventing application of an excessive pressure in the occurrence of misalignment. An ultrasonic sealing anvil is configured to seal a tubular material having an overlap part extending in one direction, in a sealing direction crossing the overlap part. The anvil is provided with a step that can be abutted with the overlap part R, and a pair of grooves arranged sandwiching the step in the sealing direction.

An end portion of a horn of a casing that includes the horn and a converter, or the horn, a booster and the converter is cooled by supplying air to a frame portion exposed toward an anvil side.

摘要: Pressure pad for a heat-sealing device in a packaging machine, the heat-sealing device having a heat-sealing jaw and a counter-jaw adapted to seal together two surfaces of a packaging material when the jaws are pressed together. The pressure pad comprises a first portion, adapted to be mounted on the counter-jaw of the heat-sealing device, and a second portion, in use arranged towards the heat-sealing jaw of the heat-sealing device. A cross-section of said second portion, along the extension of the pressure pad, has a substantially constant arc-shape of the outer contact surface in use facing the heat-sealing jaw. The pressure pad is made up of a resilient material, and the cross-section of said arc-shaped outer contact surface has a radius of curvature of 15 mm±5 mm. The invention further relates to a heat-sealing device having such a pressure pad.

摘要: A vacuum and sealing appliance comprises a heat sealing element for sealing a container during a sealing cycle. A controller controls the temperature of the heat sealing element during the sealing cycle based on a signal from a temperature sensor that senses the real-time temperature of the heat sealing element. A seal indicator light is provided which is lighted during the sealing cycle and extinguished at its completion. The signal from the controller energizes the heating element for a time to heat the sealing element to a pre-determined temperature for sealing the container and initiates a dwell time corresponding to cooling the heating element after sealing the container. Values of the real-time temperatures of the heat sealing element and values of the sealing times and the dwell times that correspond to the values of the real-time temperatures of the heat sealing element are stored in a look-up table.
