摘要: A fuel synthesis device includes: a supplier to supply CO2 and H2 gasses; a fuel synthesis catalyst to chemically react the CO2 and H2 gasses to synthesize fuel; a gas-liquid separator to liquefy the fuel into liquid and separate the liquid from a gas containing unreacted CO2 and H2 gasses, and CH4 gas as a side product; a return path to return the separated gas to a point between the supplier and the fuel synthesis catalyst; a bypass path to bypass, and merge downstream of, the return path, and to include a CH4 separator to separate the CH4 and a CH4 oxidation catalyst to oxidize the CH4; and a switching valve to selectively switch between communication with the return path and communication with the bypass path, wherein whether the switching valve communicates with the return path or bypass path is controlled based on the density of CH4.

摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to a system having a reactor system with a polymerization reactor and a feed system fluidly coupled to a feed inlet of the reactor. The feed system supplies components to the reactor via the feed inlet, and the reactor has a flow path that continuously conveys the components through the reactor and subjects the components to polymerization conditions to produce a polymer. The system also has an analysis system coupled to the reactor for online monitoring of a particle size of the polymer. Further, the system includes a control system, coupled to the analysis and feed systems, that receives a signal from the analysis system indicative of the monitored particle size of the polymer and adjusts an operating parameter of the feed system to control a flow rate of at least one of the components to the reactor based at least on the signal.

摘要: Electroluminescent phosphor powders and a method for making phosphor powders. The phosphor powders have a small particle size, narrow particle size distribution and are substantially spherical. The method of the invention advantageously permits the economic production of such powders. The invention also relates to improved devices, such as electroluminescent display devices, incorporating the phosphor powders.

摘要: Provided is an aerosol method, and accompanying apparatus, for preparing powdered products of a variety of materials involving the use of an ultrasonic aerosol generator (106) including a plurality of ultrasonic transducers (120) underlying and ultrasonically energizing a reservoir of liquid feed (102) which forms droplets of the aerosol. Carrier gas (104) is delivered to different portions of the reservoir by a plurality of gas delivery ports (136) delivering gas from a gas delivery system. The aerosol is pyrolyzed to form particles, which are then cooled and collected. The invention also provides powders that include coated particles made by the method and devices made using the coated particles.
