摘要: A medical device includes a hub having an output port, a distal balloon inflation port, a proximal balloon inflation port, a distal balloon, a flexible inner inflation shaft with a proximal end coupled to the distal balloon inflation port and a distal end coupled to the distal balloon to carry a gas, liquid or solution that enters the distal balloon inflation port and flows to and inflates the distal balloon. The device further comprises a proximal balloon and a flexible outer inflation shaft coaxially aligned with the inner inflation shaft with a proximal end coupled to the proximal balloon inflation port and a distal end coupled to the proximal balloon to carry a gas, liquid or solution that enters the proximal balloon inflation port and flows to and inflates the proximal balloon.

摘要: Improved methods and devices for performing an endoscopic surgery are provided. Systems are taught for operatively treating gastrointestinal disorders endoscopically in a stable, yet dynamic operative environment, and in a minimally-invasive manner. Such systems include, for example, an endoscopic surgical suite. The surgical suite can have a reversibly-expandable retractor that expands to provide a stable, operative environment within a subject. The expansion can be asymmetric around a stabilizer subsystem to maximize space for a tool and an endoscope to each be maneuvered independently to visualize a target tissue and treat the target tissue from outside the patient in a minimally invasive manner.

In embodiments of the present invention, the formulation may include at least one of a gas, a vapor, a liquid, a solution, an emulsion, or a suspensions of one or more ingredients. In embodiments of the present invention, amounts of the formulation and/or energy are effective to injure or damage tissue, nerves, and nerve endings in order to relieve disease symptoms.

摘要: A method for automatically controlling an expandable member in a blood vessel of a subject may comprise obtaining, using a controller, proximal sensor data from a proximal pressure sensor and distal sensor data from a distal pressure sensor, comparing the obtained proximal sensor data to a proximal pressure threshold value, adjusting, using the controller, a volume of the expandable member based on the distal sensor data in response to determining that the proximal sensor data is above or at the proximal pressure threshold value, and adjusting, using the controller, the volume of the expandable member based on the proximal sensor data in response to determining that the proximal sensor data is below the proximal pressure threshold value.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for the treatment of edema. In one aspect a method for implanting an indwelling catheter within a vein of a patient is provided. The catheter can extend from a position upstream of at least one outflow port of a duct of the lymph system to a terminal position downstream of the at least one outflow port. In use, a first restriction can be created within the vein proximal to a distal region of the catheter. The first restriction can define a localized low pressure zone distal of the restriction and within a portion of the vein housing the catheter. The low pressure zone can be adjacent to the at least one outflow port to enable fluid to pass from the at least one lymph duct outflow port into the vein.
