摘要: A respiratory interface assembly includes a patient interface and a headgear arrangement. A seal or cushion of the interface assembly can include thickened portions positioned and arranged to improve sealing and/or user comfort. The headgear arrangement can be connectable to the nasal mask by a connection arrangement configured to provide stability to the nasal mask such that a forehead support is not required. The connection arrangement can inhibit or prevent improper connections. The headgear arrangement can have one or more resilient straps having a composite construction of an outer fabric and a plastic core. The outer fabric can be knitted. A rear portion of the headgear arrangement can include a knitted panel or a spacer fabric panel.

摘要: A system for noise and vibration management of a smoke evacuation system includes a pump that compresses air and produces a pressure differential within an airflow path. The pump may be a sealed, positive displacement pump. The system includes vibration absorption mechanisms disposed between inner and outer housings, as well as on the outside surface of the outer housing. Methods of controlling and regulating a motor of the system to preserve the lifespan of the motor and maintain consistent airflow rates throughout the smoke evacuation system include varying a supply of electrical current to the motor so that it can operate at variable performance levels. Orifices are opened and closed in order to relieve resistance pressures within the airflow path due to clogging and blockages.

摘要: An insufflation system has a medical instrument, which has a channel through which an insufflation gas can be passed from the proximal end to the distal end. A first valve in the instrument can be switched between a first switching state and a second switching state. It is proposed that a pressure sensor be provided which is connected to the channel and which can detect the two switching states of the first valve. A second switch-over valve can be switched by a control unit in accordance with the detected pressure values, such that the instrument can be connected by the second switch-over valve either to a source of insufflation gas or to a source of air. The second switch-over valve is designed such that only air is delivered in the first switching state of the first valve and only insufflation gas is delivered in the second switching state.

摘要: A healthy gas generating system for generating healthy gas for inhalation by a user includes an electrolysis device, a gas mixing device, and a backfire barrier. The electrolysis device electrolyzes water to generate a gas with hydrogen. The gas mixing device includes a mixer and a vibrator for mixing the combination gas with an atomized gas to produce the healthy gas. The backfire barrier is configured on the output of the gas mixing device or the gas passage of receiving the combination gas to avoid the backflow of the gas.

摘要: There is provided an insufflation system and an insufflation apparatus which can prevent a pressure inside a lumen from rapidly increasing and can achieve operability matched to a sense of an operator. When the operator operates an air/water supply button of the endoscope, the gas is insufflated into a gastrointestinal tract of a patient through an internal conduit of the endoscope (manual insufflation). Meanwhile, the insufflation apparatus is connected to an insertion assisting tool which guides the endoscope into the gastrointestinal tract. When the insufflation apparatus automatically performs insufflation, the gas is intermittently insufflated into the gastrointestinal tract of the patient so as to maintain the pressure inside the gastrointestinal tract at the set pressure (automatic insufflation). The average flow rate of the gas in the automatic insufflation is set to be less than or equal to the insufflation flow rate in the manual insufflation.

摘要: A process and a nebulizer for dispensing a consecutively dose of medicament in the form of a mist, comprising: an energy source (ES), an air-conditioning volume, an air outlet fluidity connected to the air-containing volume, an air actuator adapted to release a flow of compressed air through the air outlet at such time as a predetermined ES pressure has been reached in the volume and at least two valve means in communication with the air actuator. The compressed air is released at a predetermined pressure of about 20 to about 100 psig. The valve means controls the actuation of the air actuator such that when a medication is nebulized, a mist distribution of a medication is formed having droplets size in the range of approximately 1μ to approximately 7μ which inhaled by a user at a set of predetermined intervals.
