摘要: Systems and methods for blood flow control are described herein. In some variations, a blood flow control system may comprise a blood flow control device. The blood flow control device may be placed within a body of a patient and may comprise an expandable member and a sensor. The sensor may be configured to measure at least one of a physiologic condition of the patient and a pressure associated with the expandable member. The blood flow control system may include at least one controller communicably coupled to the sensor to: receive data indicative of at least one of the physiologic condition of the patient and the pressure associated with the expandable member from the sensor, compare the received data with target data, identify at least one error based on the comparison, and in response to identifying the error, inhibit at least one function of the blood flow control system.

摘要: A method for automatically controlling an expandable member in a blood vessel of a subject may comprise obtaining, using a controller, proximal sensor data from a proximal pressure sensor and distal sensor data from a distal pressure sensor, comparing the obtained proximal sensor data to a proximal pressure threshold value, adjusting, using the controller, a volume of the expandable member based on the distal sensor data in response to determining that the proximal sensor data is above or at the proximal pressure threshold value, and adjusting, using the controller, the volume of the expandable member based on the proximal sensor data in response to determining that the proximal sensor data is below the proximal pressure threshold value.

摘要: A method for calibrating at least one solid-state sensor coupled to an elongate body comprising an expandable member is described herein. In some variations, the method may include advancing the expandable member to a target location in a blood vessel of a patient, injecting a calibration bolus into the expandable member, obtaining, using a controller, a first sensor data from an expandable member sensor, obtaining, using the controller, a second sensor data from the at least one solid-state sensor, and adjusting the second sensor data based on the first sensor data.

摘要: Methods for performing endovascular procedures are described herein. The methods may comprise advancing an expandable member of a blood flow control device to a target location in a blood vessel of a patient, and rotating a circular gear positioned at least partially within a housing of a controller via the controller communicably coupled to the blood flow control device. Rotating the circular gear may translate a linear gear of a syringe pump fluidly coupled to the expandable member thereby adjusting a volume of the expandable member. Various blood flow control devices, control systems, and fluid delivery systems are also described herein. The fluid delivery systems may include a pump configured for manual or automated delivery of fluids, or configured to switch between automated and manual modes of delivery. The pump may be a syringe pump that utilizes a rack and pinion system, a motor, and a sensor to track the position and/or movement of a component of the syringe pump during fluid transfer. Alternatively, the pump may be a pressure differential pump that includes a flow restrictor and a pressure sensor that controls delivery of fluid from a fluid reservoir. Systems and methods including the syringe and pressure differential pumps are also described.
