The present invention relates to a biochemical analysis cartridge having improved operability. More particularly, the present invention provides a biochemical analysis cartridge including an insertion-type sample cartridge and a reaction cartridge receiving the insertion-type sample cartridge, in which, as the sample cartridge is inserted into the reaction cartridge, a reaction solution chamber moves toward a broken part of a covertape so as to automatically supply the reaction solution stored in the chamber. The biochemical analysis cartridge having improved operability according to the present invention can induce the mixing between a sample and a reaction solution by simply inserting them into the reaction cartridge and a reaction thereafter, thereby minimizing the process of a measurer to intervene in the assay, and subsequently improving user convenience and operability.

A method for measuring a concentration of an analyte in a bio-sample using an electrochemical bio-sensor according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention is characterized by a step of obtaining predetermined features from induced currents obtained by applying a DC voltage according to chronoamperometry in which, after a whole blood sample is injected to the electrochemical bio-sensor, a concentration of an analyte is obtained from an induced current obtained by applying a DC voltage for a certain time and from all induced currents obtained by further applying several step-ladder perturbation potentials for a short time subsequent to the DC voltage for the certain time, and is also characterized by minimization of a measurement error caused by a hindering material by forming a calibration equation by combining the at least one feature in a function and optimizing various conditions of the bio-sample through DeletedTextsmultivariable analysis. With this configuration, a perturbation potential application method added to a conventional measurement method can maintain a bio-sensor and a measuring apparatus already used, a line used in the measuring apparatus, and calibration of amperometry as they are, improve accuracy in measurement by effectively minimizing a matrix interference effect of a background material in a bio-sample, particularly an inaccuracy caused by a change in hematocrit, and also remarkably improve accuracy in measurement by simply upgrading a measurement program of a conventional measuring apparatus.

Disclosed is a hemolysis reagent composition for the quantitative analysis of glycated hemoglobin (HbAlc) via an enzymatic method. The hemolysis reagent compositions of the present invention containing a zwitterionic surfactant and a nitrous compound considerably accelerate hemolysis rate due to the presence of the zwitterionic surfactant, and also induce the N-terminal β-chain of hemoglobin released by hemolysis to be exposed to the outside of the hemoglobin molecule and assists the participation of a greater number of molecules in the reaction, thereby improving reaction sensitivity and reaction rate of the glycated hemoglobin, and the nitrous compound makes the protein structure of the hemoglobin flexibly modified so that the amino acid sequence of the N-terminal β-chain of hemoglobin can be readily cut off, thereby significantly reducing the entire time required for the measurement and improving the accuracy of the measurement.

The apparatus can improve measurement accuracy by effectively minimizing a matrix interference effect of a background material in a bio-sample, particularly an inaccuracy caused by a change in hematocrit.
