摘要: A motor vehicle having a combustion engine for vehicle propulsion can be automatically stopped when engine propulsion is not needed, such as during a gliding condition when the vehicle is coasting down to a slower speed (e.g., stopping) or down an incline. The engine is automatically restarted as needed. To ensure a capacity of a battery or other electrical storage device to support nominal operation of electrical loads (including a starter motor for restarting the engine) during an Auto Stop event, predicted future states of a vehicle battery are determined using a battery state of function (SOF) in response to load transients that may need to be supported.

摘要: A method for controlling a vehicle active chassis power system includes determining, via a processor, a minimum output voltage/current threshold for an aggregated power supply associated with an active chassis operation, and generating an aggregate State of Function (SoF) indicative of a maximum voltage/current budget for an output of the vehicle active chassis power system. The aggregate SoF is based on a primary power source voltage/current output and a power storage voltage/current output. The method further includes causing to control an active chassis power system actuator based on a minimum voltage/current value associated with the aggregate SoF. Causing to control the active chassis power system actuator can include publishing the aggregate SoF to a braking actuator, a steering actuator, or to a domain controller that actively distributes an aggregated power supply capability SoF to a braking actuator and a steering actuator based on one or more present vehicle states.

摘要: Systems and methods for detecting and reporting vehicle damage events are provided herein. An example method includes detecting any of a key-on or key-off event for a vehicle at a second point in time; in response to detecting the key-on or key-off event, obtaining a current set of images of one or more surfaces of the vehicle using one or more onboard cameras of the vehicle; accessing a baseline set of images for the vehicle obtained at a first point in time that precedes the second point in time; comparing the current set of images to the baseline set of images to determine damage to the one or more surfaces; and presenting a message through a human machine interface of the vehicle that is indicative of the damage.

摘要: Embodiments for diagnosing a humidity sensor are provided. One example method comprises adjusting an engine operating parameter based on humidity of a first gas flow measured by a humidity sensor, and indicating degradation of the humidity sensor if a humidity of a second gas flow measured by the humidity sensor is different than an expected humidity. In this way, degradation of the humidity sensor may be indicated if the humidity of the second gas flow measured by the humidity sensor is different than expected.

摘要: Systems and methods for sensing fuel vapor pressure are provided. In one example, a method for a vehicle comprises: during an engine start after the engine has been off for at least a minimum duration, actively controlling fuel pressure in the fuel system to a vapor-liquid volume ratio greater than zero and then recording sensed fuel pressure and temperature in the fuel system. In this way, the vapor pressure of a fuel at a given temperature may be accurately measured during isothermal conditions, thereby improving an estimation of fuel volatility.

摘要: A system of one or more computers can be configured to perform particular operations or actions by virtue of having software, firmware, hardware, or a combination of them installed on the system that in operation causes or cause the system to perform the actions. One general aspect includes a system, including a server computer having a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor such that the computer is programmed to detect a first vehicle in a first lane adjacent to a second lane and plan a first vehicle trajectory for the first vehicle to be placed in a queue in the first lane and, from the queue, transition from the first lane to the second lane based upon at least one determined characteristic of the first vehicle and a second vehicle trajectory and control the first vehicle based upon the first vehicle trajectory.

摘要: A method is provided for monitoring an emission control device coupled to an engine. In one example approach, the method comprises, following a deceleration fuel shut-off (DFSO) duration, indicating degradation of an emission device based on an amount of rich products required to cause a sensor to become richer than a first threshold, the indicating carried out when DFSO duration is greater than a second threshold. The method also comprises an integration which is based on inlet air-fuel ratio, the integration starting only after a pre-catalyst sensor reaches stoichiometry.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for an engine coupled capacitance-based humidity sensor. Degradation of the humidity sensor may be determined based on humidity readings while flowing gasses into an engine intake air downstream of the humidity sensor and upstream of a compressor change by less than a first threshold while pressure at the sensor changes greater then a second threshold. The variation in pressure can be changed by adjusting a throttle upstream and downstream of the compressor based on whether the humidity sensor is degraded or functional.
